I just started recieving heads on a spike threw ToT, can anyone please tell me how many different ones there are and which one is the rare named?

If they haven't changed them this year then the full list is given here, along with the other holiday items: http://uo2.stratics.com/items/holiday-special-items/holiday-items-2013-2015. Mesanna, as far as I'm aware, was the only really rare one. These days, as stated above, they seem not be as highly valued, but having said that I'm still desparately trying to get Mesanna and MrsTroubleMaker to complete my set.

I am totally disappointed that they are back as a reward this year. They should have done something else and kept them as a once only reward
I want the original artwork back, their current cartoonishness is really unappealing.
Aparently someone compalianed last year and they had to change them. Funny thing is 100x more people have complained about the account managment/billing system yet still nothing has been done.
We had to worry about all the 40+ year olds playing collecting deco and being offended..literally! That's what it boiled down to. Oh and the cartoonish masks keep it within out T rating..I forget, but I'm pretty sure someone was planning on writing a nasty letter to the ESRB complaining about it lmao!! Gotta love it

I've seen far more graphic art in a T-rated game. The heads, while bloody, were pretty tame.

I'm 40+ and I wasn't offended. And I too have seen far worse in games rated T for Teen.... and why then do I still get gory bloody body parts off of things like zombies if that is sooo...... scary gross?
I'm guessing that whoever was offended never got keys to do a Paroximas..... since well they are body parts.

I was merely commenting on age because most people that are still left have been here many of the 17 years..which generally means they are in the "older" bracket..UO doesn't really cater to 20 and under anymore..didn't see the issue with the spikes. Although a few did

I don't think one is any more gruesome than the other lol. I don't Mesanna is any more rare than the other either. I think people just hang onto that one.
Is this for real? I wouldn't know, since I quit ToT after I got the three skulls (those are pretty cool, if you ask me). If the above artwork isn't a joke, these new heads on a spike look a whole lot more horror show than the old ones. I wouldn't spent 2 minutes trying to get one, let alone all of them.

Yeah they just put some weird ugly stuff on them so they wouldn't look so *realistic* which is why I loved them so much! Now they just look like dressed up dead clowns :/

You people are nothing but foolish and childish if you truly believe one player by herself, simply by posting in a forum, can buffalo Mesanna to the extent you are implying. You have no way of knowing, unless you are dev team sock puppets, who else expressed privately or even in another forum or venue, maybe even in a different language, their dislike for the heads. You also have no way of knowing if there wasn't a plan all along to switch the artwork or even if what was originally released was just preliminary artwork used to meet a deadline while the artist finished up the second version of everything.
C'mon, don't pick on Tina Small. She has her right to dislike the originals. I'm not even saying I loved the originals. I'm just saying I dislike the new ones.

Seriously? You think one single person is enough to make the devs change something about the game? If that were even remotely true, why isn't UO changing on a more constant basis? So many people come here complaining about several different aspects of this game on an almost daily basis! lol

Doubt it was just you, but it can only be assumed to have been vocal minority, because the rate of like to dislike is about 99-1 here, and anywhere I was in game. Not that either side is right, it's completely subjective, but still the apparently dramatically smaller minority did get what they wanted.

original heads came out start of october. most people liked them.
a few unhappy / offended very active posters UOhall.
Heads were changed middle of october and everyone hated them. Id link the old posts but under the old regime the majority of those posts / agrueing about the heads were deleted.
there have been single players that have threatened mesanna before to the point where shes had in game meetings to deal with it. I can see why a threat that might effect the games rating or availability or legality in germany might have been easy to succumb to.

Wow, all this time I thought it was merely someone using her Jedi mind trick, not that she's really Darth Tinaus.
no the specific thing i was referring to was someone on cats threatening to close 50 accounts and quit so the devs had a live meeting that lasted hours. just saying, players can and do influence the devs so the heads change being because of UO hall / emails is not so outlandish.
