I managed to keep 2 of each color and have 3-4 of the guard horses. I was gonna be a real pissy redhead if they didn't let us keep the color of them.

I just wish they'd be account bound instead of character bound. Granted I'm not sure how exactly you'd swap account bound pets. But my one guy with 3 horses will never ride them all. And I have others who could use them.
