6 hrs for a gm help issue is a bit long, even for siege....going 3 days now :-(

going on 7th hr now...my skilll gain timer is stuck...i must wait a bit longer for any and alll skillls...but 6 hrs ive been in que now.

we are in 2014, its not stone age more....plz giv us the help....

if you have stealth try going to a town moongate and changing cities then walking out, that always reset my character that got stuck training ninjitsu.

I'm not sure we even have GM's anymore to be honest, In the last year I've only seen 2 or 3 GM's around on all the shards combined, the same ones seem to answer every call. At least the Advisor program will help with the wait time a bit.

Last resort nothing. That should always be Step 1 in the troubleshooting process.

Ok the trick is to lie, when you page write something like..."I have just been the victim of a racial attack". When the gm comes and they will come say it was a typo and you meant a facial attack, and ask heaps of questions like " am I still pretty? ".

Tried all tricks I could imagine. Even train another skill - but nothing solved it. And still no help from GM's :-(

Adding something interesting or funny occasionally helps to, once after waiting for hours my friend canceled his page, then sent a new one with the exact same words plus "omg fluffy bunnies are killing me help!" at the end. GM showed up 5 minutes later and said he liked it.

It could be because of the massive Siege population is why the GM can't find you

7 hours, that's nothing! I paged for help 32 hours ago and multible times since then; not even a canned response yet!

Maybe they should change the "Please check your Jounal for messages every few minutes" to hours.

Well I can only offer an alternative view here. I had to call a GM recently, they were there in less than an hour and they fixed the problem immediately. I could not of been happier with them.

I hope that your problem gets fixed soon. You must be terribly frustrated by it.

Might sound silly, but have you tried changing the house foundation? That's the way to remove a parrot that's stuck there, so it might just work for the painting too?

In GC it sounded like he got a message saying he had to wait a moment to use a skill and that he got it on every skill he tried to use.

Not silly at all. I just tried changing, both foundation style, house sign, house sign hanger and signpost; neither worked, but thanks for your suggestion.

Btw, the painting was ejectet from the house as I went into customation mode and has become static.

OK. That helps. Sometimes it is as simple as opening and closing the character gump. It may take a GM...

'wait to perform another operation' is the skill timer, rather than skill gain timer. Usually if you just send that your skill timer is stuck and you're getting the 'wait' message long after the timer should have expired a gm can fix it. Sometimes casting a spell can fix it I think

I remember someone posting a solution to this problem a few months ago, it was a really strange combination of things, like create food spell then cast lightning bolt on yourself.....something like that. It worked for a few people. I'll try to find it but doubt I'll be able to.

I was training hiding when it got stuck. Now any skill that has a blue dot is stuck, - and i get a message i have to wait a moment to use another skill.

I have tried now for 3 days to page a GM saying my skill timer is stuck - but so far no luck

It was facing the wrong way so I should turn it with the decorator tool. Doing so, made the painting static. I can turn it back though and make it mobile again.

It might not be your wall that's bugged, those type of paintings have always done that when I've used them in the past.

Oh, that is good to hear, especially as it is the house I'm building for the Marksburg Castle challenge.
