Well, yeah i started playing again. Never deactivated or anything just busy, lots of kids, work, school, wife, we all have it anyways, its time to get my gear straight.

Before i was forced out due to rl, i stocked up on everything, and im not kidding. I have a Castle that is nothing but runics.

I am talking val hammers, heartwood saws, you name it by the hundreds. Anyhow, i see all the crafty near gear out there.

Any ideal mods needed these days to defeat the parry mage? Or any new temps to look out for? I have not changed my template and never will, my account is 204 months, and Six has 18,541 long terms murders in his 17 years of service so why change now. Just adaptations is all...

ideas for new stuff? temps? though i will not give up my nox, never have, never will.

i guess the true point of this post is what to make with what materials with what runics, etc...

i still have 11 billion in game, plus utilites and all my stock ready to be burned just looked for the direction of need :}

Most people play melee/archer these days, can also run poison or ninja depending on preference.

A few things to consider:

1.) Big money to get a nice 20%+ splintering weapon (butcher knife or warfork or pickaxe).

2.) Crafting a 210 stam suit with barbed runic kits made of studded/bone armor. Then enhancing used a forged metal tool to maximize your resists. Suit should be 5 pieces of bone/studded, and the 6th piece can be any material for a 55 LMC bonus. Most of the best dexer studded/bone suits are now "reforged" and not imbued with 10 stam per piece 3-4 MR, 8 LMC, 10 stam, 8-10 mana, 4-5 dex/int. (most ppl use Animated/Haste and Mystic/Sorcery when reforging for those mods)

3.) Nice jewels...usually 5-10ssi (shame loot), 5 stam, 25 EP, 15 HCI, 15 DCI. You'll need a total of 55ssi to swing a comp bow at 1.25s with 210 stam, most ppl overcap a little, the more the merrier.

4.) Stack MR when you can, LT sash, luck garb/epaulettes depending on the look u prefer

5.) Most ppl run Slither.

6.) Comp bow, most ppl run 50ssi bows (reforged 40% and imbued other mods, then enhanced with forged metal tool with Ash wood to get 50%ssi). You'll only need x1 5ssi jewel then as u only need 55ssi total.

Enlighten us on your template again 6. You were pretty clear about not dropping poison....so are any other changes fair game or you have something specific in mind? Also.... I'd perhaps start with a crazy 11 mod clean artifact piece and build the rest around it. Definitely a splinter weapon and the rest depends on template.

I would wait for the upcoming publish with your project. There are major changes coming to loot. Along with that prices and availability of some of the good stuff prob will change. (Mainly ssi jewelry and maybe splintering weapons, too.)

You should catch up in the crafter forum about reforging. I would not use runics to make armor or weps, but make of regular and reforge with runics. That way you will get lot better parts.

gear comes down to if your going archery or not. no specific mods for defeating parry mage, unless its bush parry mage then disarm and no problem just like any other character. parry anatomy mage just have to dps them down. splintering is real nice. necro can be nice. if no archery, and fighting a parry / anatomy mage, i think you best bet would just be to ninja focus attack with a splintering weapon and poison / ai.

when did you last play? Most high end dexter suit setups use 1 or 2 shame artifact pieces and 4 or 5 reforged pieces. reforging for hci then imbuing is good for 1to2 pieces. Or reforge or imbue for base wood piece then enhance for hci.

I wouldnt wait for the patch, if your upgrading gear its going to take a while just to find jewels you need, and prices are way down already. jewels that used to sell for a billion are around 300million right now. Same with artifact loot. If you do wait for the patch, id expect 3-4 months before we really see a substantial increase in the high end pieces with desireable mod configurations start to hit the UO market.

i love the anonymous posts, shows how much you matter.Now onto business, why not make plate? i thought that was going to reduce penalty on ssi? or did i read it wrong. I dont care what you people say, you cant defeat me, i take sceenies of everything have since day 1. SO be gone.

im not changing six, i raided a GL guild killed everyone even rusty,so hes fine just need to upgrade the suit. Donkey is a archer at least atm, so we shal see.

1. Put on high base damage weapon.
2. Perfect acting like cave man, grunting and groaning. (Forcefully decreasing IQ points where needed)
3. (ONLY DO AFTER PERFECTING STEP #2!!!!) Stack Stamina and swing speed increase, run around like a cave man who's learned to ride a sports motorcycle while swinging your high base dmg weapon around, hopefully hitting anyone within range.
4. Genuinely be offended when people yell at you for killing them too easily. (This may be the hardest part, depending on just how mongo you truly are.)
5. Repeat step #3 only, referring to #2 and #4 when necessary.

Congrats, you're back to being a dexer!
