Um..help please! Pretty please!

I have just converted my old style tower into a customizable footprint (Big mistake!). I now have all sorts of things hanging in the air where the platforms on the roof of the tower once were that I cannot reclaim as "that is not in your house". I am not too worried about those but..my 14th year vet reward shield transfer that was locked down within my tower on the ground floor did not get put into the moving crate and I am now unable to move it or access it to store it as it too is "not in my house". What is going on here and how can I retrieve it before it goes "poof" ...a 14 year reward!! *sobs*

You need to call a GM. They should respond reasonably fast for this.

Can you go into the customize mode and put a wall up near the shield? Then possibly reclaim it that way?

Sadly no, if I place a wall over it the shield is still there peeping out of the edges and when I erase the wall again the shield remains. This is quite irritating. I doubt that there is much of a GM presence on Europa at this time of day.

Boo! As much as I love the game sometimes UO is just full of non-sensical rubbish!

A very long shot, but sometimes when houses fall, carpets are left floating in the air and seem to still be 'locked down', as they cannot be removed unless you first cast the telekinesis spell on them - after that you can grab them and drag them to a backpack or the ground. Maybe worth a try for this one?

I suspect as the shield needs to be 'reclaimed' it may not do any good, but can't hurt, I guess....

Do NOT demolish the house. You need to call a GM - be sure to phrase it good, so you get a response. I would say something like; My veteran shield has become unaccessible - and I am unable to deed it. I need help from a GM to access it again.

And when you get a GM help, explain him and he will get the rest of your stuff.

Thats good They come as long it is a problem they can fix, if not you are escalated - wich will take time. Therefore the phrase of how you are telling your problem is important. Glad they fixed it.
