Pros and cons here?
Now that weapon damage is balanced, I don't know that this isn't the next logical step in fighting useless weapon syndrome.
I think it could add a new element of strategy. Crushing blow for example suddenly becomes attractive when I can pair it with Armor Ignore, on the offensive side, (a combo that only currently exists on the broardsword which doesn't get the stam drain bonus of CB making CB a petty much 100% useless special when paired with AI) or feint on the defensive side.
Even if you limited the choices, and just allowed each weapon 3 primary and 3 secondary, to pick from when crafting, you could still get a little more diversity.
There are just a lot of weapons I'd like to use, just because I think the are cool, or fit my character idea or whatever, but are simply not worth using.
