Houses are skipping stages, Houses are going from SW to FW in few hours
Houses that went from GW to Idoc, falling in couple hours only...
And alot of houses are just Vanishing!!!

Normally would take a House go from Slight to idoc , about 5 days, its taking 3 days top, between slight to Idoc

A LOT of houses on All shards... this is Not a case of Duper's houses, because even public empty houses are vanishing

yes, I have runebook with all locations for this week, most houses either vanished, or skipped 2+ steps
and houses that went from GW to Idoc, vanished in less than couple hours

maybe they forgot to add on patch notes another change....they made ..without fore warning...[whatever]...most people have asked for random falling times for ages now rather than a set timer...so maybe they have implimented it and just forgot to mention it

That is happening when it had gone through its normal cyclus with vendors inside. Once vendors fall it will go through the full cyclus in just few hrs and drop later same day.

Definitely something different, as one poster has already said it seems that stages are being skipped or the length of time greatly reduced. Seems to me it started after the last patch but could maybe have been the one before.

pretty sure the 5 day must stay to give time for people that have let it go into decay through non payment or by mistake....so they have full 5 days to notice it....and refresh it like normal...aka those that pay 3 or 4x a year to keep a etra house- every 120 days....

Everything got crazy, on Atlantic Right NOW, 2 houses just went Down at FW stage, No Vendors....

Okies i used to dabble in Idocs myself...well a lot... many years ago.....i kinda left the scene after the keyloggers/script placers moved in.. =. i was just throwing a few suggestions...maybe the devs have altered stuff...cant see them doing anything with the normal 5 day timer though....not without consultation first

yeah im emailing mesanna to explain whats happening now. but basically it seems as if houses are completely skipping decay states. this could be a problem for those people that are placing another house and think they have the normal 5 days to move out safely.

certain shards seem to be fine. legends seem to be on time and working like normal. there are a lot of ATL that skipped ahead as well as catskills and chessy.

Yes...... I emailed her too, when you play around House stages, you know you have 7 days to transfer houses between accounts.... the way it is now, houses are falling in less than 3 days

It is not vendor shenanigans, nor is it the people who duped xfer shield tokens. I checked the IDOCs I had on Pacific and a keep that shouldn't have fallen for a day or two more was already IDOC and dropped 10 seconds later as I was recalling out. So yeah, can confirm, the time frame is sped up and falling at an unusual time of day. This dropped at 10:55am pac time and normally they fall 6:30pm+.

Isn't that logic flawed? If they are truly totally random that means that the only people who can do IDOCs are the ones who can watch them 24/7. Which, correct me if I'm wrong, are the very same scripters you are referring to. Seems like it would be yet another change that punishes legit players or forces them to cheat as well.

Hopefully it's just a bug, otherwise a lot of people who enjoy doing IDOCs are going to be screwed.

I noticed this morning when checking on galleons on a few shards that I last checked on Wednesday that some were already at the "somewhat worn" stage and some were still at "slightly worn." My theory is that the publish Wednesday night counted as an extra "day" or at least some extra time in the decay cycle for houses/galleons on some shards and perhaps didn't count as anything unusual at all on other shards, depending on when each shard normally has its maintenance period.

Yeah my only real concern with the idoc stages being screwy is @chargar42 post... some people will place over a house and condemn it so they can move from one house to another with out having to bank their items. This is a common practice among players that dont have multiple accounts or houses. When people do this they expect a certain amount of days to move safely. With decay stages fluctuating this is a very scary thing to do.

Today on Lake Austin I had a house that i purposely put into decay move from slightly worn to fairly worn totally skipping the somewhat stage. Granted im very OCD about my houses and items so it wasnt an issue as i was prepared for such game flaws. However people that have been practicing this method for years might not be so observant and it might be disastrous for them.

Im hoping that by monday when they are said to have fixed their shard shield issues that these idoc issues will just naturally be fixed along with that process.

If the publish that is supposed to happen on Monday happens for some shards at a time other than when the shard normally undergoes maintenance, people who are concerned about house (or boat) decay should be prepared for the possibility that the decay cycle for houses that are already in decay and for every boat on that shard which is in the water might be accelerated as a result.

Yeah, I haven't been able to play a whole lot this week, but I did notice that plants on some shards didn't seem to be as developed as they should be in some cases, battle chicken lizard eggs didn't seem to be maturing as they should, and yet galleon decay seemed to have been accelerated on some shards. It made me think that perhaps the small publish mid-week that happened at such an unusual time served as either a late or an early or even an extra maintenance cycle for some shards.

We all know messing with the code without serious checking for bugs can have wide range ramifications....
I can understand the Dev's quick action to curb the trouble... and while I am happy that didnt go too far...
I am seriously concerned as billing still will not warn if the billing system fails a credit card to reup though nothing is wrong with the card or the bank. Have heard many have had to "buy " Codes of late as the system is fubared.

Yesterday I found a somewhat worn- today its IDOC, also found a slightly worn yesterday that is currently Greatly Worn.

Yes this is a worry. I've done this so many times myself. Traded a house then spent the next couple of days moving stuff over. Its nice to have a few days to do this. It could be done in a few hours im sure but you know, I gotta eat, sleep etc.

has always been 3 days.

i checked sonoma the other day and didnt notice anything out of the normal.

i kinda like the randomness of the falling houses.
nothing worse then when someone knows right down to the second when a house is gonna drop.
takes all the fun out of it!

I lost my boat. I would log on every 4 days to refresh it. I logged on earlier this week and it was gone.

All the fishing quest I had in the hold- if I decide to start them again, I have to take the reputation hit. All the items and SoSs in the hold....

Rather frustrated right now. I haven't logged into the game since.

I'm an IDOC hunter, but even I'm against unannounced or undocumented changes or bugs screwing people over.

@NuSair I was worried that it wasnt just housing timers but other decay timers as well. Make sure you lock things down immediately as item decay timers maybe random at this time as well. I cant think of everything that relies on a decay timer but if you know it does i would watch it till this is addressed.

Im still hoping that when these supposed shard shield "fixes" are resolved monday that the timers will automatically go back to their old reliable ways. Till then spread the word that Decay Timers on all levels maybe bugged.

Also i have submitted this to the bug section here on stratics but it is awaiting moderator approval.

We have a few players who are in the military and reading e mails is the least of their worries.
They set up their accounts for auto bill while away.
Some are lucky and friends keep eyes on their property, one friend reciently didnt know his castle was unpaid for..
Friends got to him via e mail, icq and facebook bombing spam of what was up.
He had no idea as the account is on a secondary e mail only for the accounts...
Which goes to show you it was a bad idea for so many emails if you have alot of accounts.
But I do know one player who didnt get any notice and just barely caught his house in decay.
He was out of town on business and work took most of his mind and time for a few weeks.
He has no idea his card had stopped working and the house was in danger.

A house on Legends seemed to be on normal timer between Fairly and Greatly, but after changing to IDOC it did not collapse after the usual nearly 7 hours, but much earlier.
The most stuff was already decayed/taken, as I woke up.

I don't know what information you have based this post on but as an active idocer on Europa I would point out that I have actually seen two houses that only went to Somewhat worn on Thursday, both fall on Saturday and that the time one was actually idoc before it fell was exactly 4 hours. So it is absolutely certain that some kind of change has occurred to the idoc timing on Europa.

It's not just IDOCs, it seems it's most timers for systems. I had an aquarium on Europa with all of the possible fish which I would place a Vacation Wafer in every Sunday to keep it healthy. Someone asked if timers were screwed up for me, and lo and behold going to check for today's feeding and it's leapt a few days ahead, and now half the fish are dead, including the ultra-rare Coral that you need to spend months feeding every 2 days to spawn. The last time I lost the coral it took 6 months of feeding to get it, and I don't have the heart to restart again. So I can only imagine what those of you seeing their entire homes fall are going through. You have my sympathies.
