I think about the worst is driving up to the ATM and saying "BANK" because the kids are distracting you in the back seat.
Now when I drive by an abandoned house with a someone out front I'm going to think - hmm...is that Theo_GL?
LOL I was passing by a pasture with a big bull in it and found myself wondering how much taming skill it'd take to tame him.
I have found myself stuck in traffic thinking: Dang it if I had a runebook, or a rune and recalls I could already be there! LOL

There are days it would be nice to recall from school to school to drop the kids off
I'd just open up a gate and push them through. I'd check the rune first though, so I didn't actually send then to Fel or something. I'm a good father that way. I'm also afraid of my wife....

Kids that sneak into your runebook and change your rune names
Can't say I've had any of these experiences, but I was going to make a video a few years ago of a real life Ultima Online, using the "Pre-Trammel" days as a reference. Actually had a few buddies on board to do it, but it never came to be.
One scene was to be me standing on a street corner with a back pack, with a buddy of mine in nothing but his underwear, standing shoulder to shoulder with me. When I'd move to the side, he'd follow. The entire time he's trying to unzip my back pack and peak in without me noticing.
I had a friend who worked at a bank. He said I could come in and just shout "Bank!" at him, then "Withdraw 2000!" He'd then go into a selling pitch about opening an account with the bank.
I also had a fishing idea, where we all go fishing. Instead of throwing the fish in a cooler, I just toss all the ones I catch on the ground next to me with my friends wondering what the hell I'm doing.
After coming up with these, and several more scenes, I ended up getting an idea to make a realistic UO web series, using costumed actors and different locations and being set in medieval times. The show was to be about a man who just arrived to Britannia from the land of Norrath. Essentially, the joke was, he was a noob coming from another game, trying to cope with the drastic differences between the two games. However being set in a medieval time, these jokes and references would be subtle. Unless you've played both Everquest and UO, you wouldn't get the, "I've just come from the world of Norrath," joke. Pretty much, think "What if Monty Python lampooned Ultima Online?"
The first episode would see our noob arrive at a bank with loads of people standing around. Our hero is completely lost and is seeking help from the locals, but nobody responds. They just stand there shouting, "In Vas Mani! In Vas Mani! Guards!" He wonders if the people in this country speak a different language. "They speak the language of magic," a voice calls out. "And will only speak the language of magic until they have mastered the art. Until then, you will be invisible to them." This joke of course references the people who AFK macro Magery while new players are trying to get help.
I had a lot written, and I think it's all still saved on my external hard drive. One episode would be about his first trip to a graveyard. Another to his first dungeon. Every episode would have a running gag of a loot stealer in the background. Something that the camera isn't focused on. He pops out of a tree, quickly runs in frame(but still far behind the actor in focus,) steals something from a corpse, and quickly darts back out of frame. Kind of like a "Where's Waldo" type gag. "Can you spot the Loot Stealer in every episode?"
It would be hard to consistently do now, but after typing all of this, I kind of want to get back to doing it.

I'm an avid ebook reader, but went to the local public library this week, and picked up a hard back book for the first time in almost three years.
I realized that I was hooked on technology when I caught myself swiping with my finger to turn pages, and trying to underline words to pop up the dictionary.

I been house cleaning in game and found a ton rubble I didn't know I had. Later the same day went to take something to a friend or pick them up. (don't remember now) There is this old house that was being demolition close to their place. As I was driving by I thought wonder how much that rubble would be worth. LOL

Had a buddy (who also plays UO) sneak up behind me while I was playing one day about ten year ago. I yelled "guards" out loud. Still haven't lived that one down.

While decorating my house, I realized I had been saying "I wish to lock this down" out loud every time I moved anything. 
I am glad to know I am not the only one with these thoughts! I was driving the other day in backed up traffic and out the corner of my eye I saw a grate in a ditch that had a large branch stuck on it. My first thought was "A Lobster! Please be a hummer lobster!"

There would be no more wars aside from national leaders calling each other nasty names because magical forces prevent us from non-consentually attacking each other haha.
I constantly think about how much better my life would be if Recall/Gate were real. I'd bring runes with me everywhere I went on vacation or have friends mark runes for me.

I've done all this.. I've seen land that was perfect to place a keep or castle.. I see trucks with logs on them and wonder how many stones is that and how many arrows? I see elk crossing the road and I remember the first time I tried to fight a hind.. thinking it was easy hides and meat..
In fact.. that hind was the first thing in UO I ever tabbed and attacked..

First thing one Monday morning after a long weekend of playing UO, I was sitting at my computer and was doing my droll tasks and was hitting my taming macro repeatedly and was wondering why nothing was happening on my screen. I almost cried. first out of horror, then laughter,then sadness cause I could not share it with the people I work with cause they would have called the white truck.

Nah, if the real world were Fel some dude wearing all red would run past me at impossible speeds into my neighbor's house, and the rest of the day I would have to listen to trash talk directly in my head. IN ALL CAPS.
Sometimes playing UO is like riding the bus in 5th grade all day long.

I don't recall ever thinking about the game as applying to anything in real life, but while half-asleep very early this morning, I was thinking if someone at the train station tried to steal my tablet. No problem, I thought, it's only 10 gold to make insurable. And I imagined hovering the target cursor over it.
