Found two reversed fishing poles in a chest. They lay west to east.

The original 'lava fishing poles' from High Seas, before they became Lava hooks, gave poles in both directions when the hook ran out. I have several - but they're on Siege!
Correction, I have 2 on Europa too.

Yes, they can, but they don't appear different in hand... just run a different direction on the ground.

I had an upside down rune once, the kind you put in runebooks. Sold it to Cazzador years ago but he hasn't been on Stratics since 2010. Hope some good IDOCer got it and not a bad one who threw it away or let it decay.
