I don't want to go thru my whole story again. Going to give you the jest of what is going on. i had a problem. A really nice person from Broadsword helped me. After that matter was taken care of i tried to buy some UO things on EA site. I tried maybe 6 times. Got EA to call me back the gentelman told me right away that he could not hellp me and guided me to UO site to ask for help. So I did but I have not received notice from UO. Then I tried EA again. Girl was great wanted to help me. Next day she e-mails me saying Broadswords bought UO so she could not help me. So I again sent e-mail to UO with no response. Checked my e-mail again no response. I again sent another plea for help with no response. I do not know what else to do.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. If it is a code they sent you, it was sent in the wrong format. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that would help with that. As Tazar has stated you are able to contact Mesanna and in my experience she will help you if she can.

If it is not that, and you are not getting satisfaction (and it is your sense that you have exhausted all your options with EA), you can do a couple of things. If you used a credit card for the purchases, have your company reverse the charges. Also, contact the Better Business Bureau and lodge a complaint with them. In the past, I have been pleasantly surprised at the results from that organization.

Finally, as a last ditch effort you could take them to small claims court (depending on the amount of money you are talking about.)

Okay sweetie I was in your shoes this time last year. When you call and ask for help make sure they understand you having a problem with the Origin Store(EA store). When they hear the word UO they are gonna toss it off cause you just gave them an out to NOT have to deal with it. It would be most helpful if you tell me what's happening, no code? Won't let you make multiple purchases? Tell me what's going exactly I'm sure I can help you. I have been through it all with my accounts. LOL last year over that credit card mess I had an EA employee threaten to perma-ban all my accounts including my Sims website account. Why? because I called the corporate number and the receptionist connected me to some female employee's voicemail; I left a polite message. 5 minutes late this guy with Mythic ,who I'd had dealings with a year or 2 prior, calls back completely hateful and yelling at me. I told him the receptionist connected me to that person after I explained what was going on. It took me a month to get it straightened out. My advice is email Mesanna and tell her whats going on, she knows what asses to kick. :)

This is my problem
I have a new problem. Just got to love Murphey's Law. I tried to buy from EA things I needed I should say things I wanted for my game. I tried I think it was a total of maybe 6 times. I tried my UO e-mails. I then tried my EA accounts I could remember but no luck. I had just got a problem fixed by a helpful person from BroadSword.

Then I was told to check with EA for things that should apply to EA. So I did first guy I got on phone was we can't help you go ask UO. So I did resend another message to UO so far no answer. In meantime I thought I would try EA again. Explaining I felt it must be their site since I was trying to buy from EA. she seemed excited to help me. I was feeling oh yay maybe it will get fixed or I could get an answer. Altho next day she sent me an e-mail saying she was sorry that she did not know that BroadSwords had bought Ultimate and so she could not help. Any billing questions had to go to them. I know that I do not know much about how things work in cyber land. Since my billing says to EA. I was on EA site trying to buy some ultimate things I wanted. My logical mind says I would think it was an EA problem but logic does not always work. Now I am waiting for UO support to contact me. The other thing it was implied that UO set up ruling for one purchase per e-mail. Which did not make any sense because when we put our UO accounts on Orgin there was no where that I read you needed one e-mail per account. This is the place I sent the e-mails. [email protected]

I can do without the things that EA is selling but my concern is if I don't get this fixed. UO comes out with a new upgrade. I won't be able to purchase it. Anyone have any ideas? So I wasn't able to get close enough to get a code. To be honest I fear trying again. EA is so quick to red flag people. I don't know the rules on EA. I still have no answer . I have done everything I could I talked twice with EA on phone and still no response from UO I e-mailed at least 4 times if not more.

[email protected] is the old EA help address for Ultima Online. With Broadsword, you'll need to send it to [email protected] now instead of the old EA address. They should be able to get you some help.

I talked to EA customer support and explain that purchasing anything for UO from Origin store is on going problem for the UO Community at large. I suggested they put UO stuff and time codes in a store on the UO Site like the set up they have for the Sims. I was very nice and the the support person just happened to be a fellow sims-er she understood what I was describing. Also she's going to give UO a try. She said if its lasted this long and your so enthusiastic about it, sound like fun and worth a try! So hopefully the right people will get this and I've brought us a newbie player! Win-Win I hope.
