Using TC1 - spellweaving in particular

I want to experiment on TC1 with Spellweaving. I cannot set my skill though, because I need to do the quest. Is there a way around this? I saw an old post mentioning special gates, but have never seen anything like that.

Spellweaving has always been a major pain to test on TC. The best way to go about it is to copy a character you have already done quests with.

If I have a character on Shard A / Account 1 that does the spellweaving quests and gets the skill to 120 and stones it. Then sends the stone to another shard, still Account 1.. Can the character there use the stone without having done the quests?

Are you able to transfer it to another character on Shard A / account1 on the same shard?

I'm pretty sure that when trying to transfer the skill from the stone, it checks if the character who would 'receive' the skill is eligible for it, and so if they have not done the Spellweaving quest, they won't be able to take the skill from the stone. If I remember right, same thing happens with Mythic tokens - if you choose spellweaving but the character isn't eligible for it, the skill will not be applied and you have to pick something else or cancel using the token.

The answer to the question is, no. Whether you want to stone skill between chars on the same shard or xshard the skill, all characters who wish to have weaving as a skill must have completed at least one of the introductory quests and been awarded a book.
