A Question About Guilds On Stratics

I was wandering around the different forums on stratics as usual, when I noticed something that I have never seen before, A person had posted, and under their name was a banner similar to the ones that stratics staff members have, it was green and said UWF on it, I went to look around the settings in my guilds stratics page but could not find anything that would "activate" that feature.

So, my question is what are those banners, are they available to all guilds with stratics pages, and if they are how would I activate them for my guild?

The way I activated mine was if you go to the "Guilds" section at the top, then go to "Your Guilds". Next to the guild name is "(Choose this Ribbon)", click that and I think that activates it. That's all I remember doing and next time I posted I saw the banner, so it was kinda neat The (Choose this Ribbon) turns into (Remove) once it's activated and you can remove and reapply it anytime it seems like, I tried it just now where I turned it off and on. So I'm not sure if this post will have the banner or not.

Hopefully that works, if not I'll check back and see if jogs my memory for doing anything else on the guild page that might've turned it on.

How does Stratics verify guild membership? If I register my guild, do I approve any Stratics users who want to display that tag?

Yes they need to be members to use the tag, however Stratics do not verify that the guild really are yours. You approve any Stratics users who want to who want to be members on the page, there is a setting, where you can changes it so you have to approve players who ask to join.

The banners have actually been available since April. Just a matter of the guild member checking the right boxes. Surprise!

The guild page owner sets one initially. Chooses the text and color.

That option was not visible when I made the guild. Must have missed it?

I guess. There's lots of guilds using it. No difference in permissions for staff...

There's a cog with a settings dropdown on the Guild page that has the option to set it

Taylor, are there a problem with the public wall, I can't make that part work for guests. It works fine for members and a admins but when I look at my page with a login, who are not a member of the page, I can't access it, even when I did allow guests to post.
If I choose the "All posts must be approved by a moderator", will that opion also do, that I have to approve posts in members wall too?

I'm not totally sure. My aim was to have a public wall (anyone), a member-only wall, and a guild leadership wall. That's what I communicated to the developer, but he is not a native English speaker... May just have to play around with it. If you confirm something isn't working, I'll go back to him and ask for a fix.

It seem like the public wall should be the first tab, "The Dark Outlaws", Members and Admins/Moderators can use it just like the other 2 walls but a guest can't see this wall, even when the setting is open for it.

In case you're messing around with creating cover and avatar images for your guild pages, I think these are the dimensions for each of them:

Cover image - 750 pixels wide by 300 pixels tall
Avatar image - 300 pixels wide by 350 pixels tall

If the image you use doesn't have quite the right dimensions, you do have the ability to reposition it after you've uploaded it, like you can do with your Facebook profile and cover photos.

Hmm...for some reason every time i choose the banner and enter the text (*VK*) it says it is saved but the banner doesn't appear on my posts, i'll keep trying.
