We are all spoiled with Night-sight... very rare anyone deals with the dark in UO anymore, besides at bugged areas of course... certain champ spawns.

And my fisherman who for some reason sees the night almost every time he crosses to the Vesper server line from any direction on his ship.

Sometimes we'll do night time hunts where nightsight isn't permitted.. we'll throw lanterns around though.. it's pretty fun.

I love playing with dark nights and colored lighting... Especially in dungeons. It makes it so much more dungeony.

Long ago when there wasa tram side of Kaldun you could get in to... many guilds had hide and seek quests in there. With no critters to hurt players and total dark (light spell didnt work) You needed lanterns. You never knew who was in the dark... it made for great fun.
