UO gamer for over ten years but cant link an account = fail

Finally got account unlinked took over two weeks...

Now i want to link the account to new mythic master account so i can make the payments ...

yes i can log into uo with the account and password... no i cant seem to be able to link account up tried everything spent over an hour on it.... seriously ...

and people wonder why no one wants to come back to this game ...

someone please help ...

Are you putting the _uo after your user name? For example, if your account was "silverbow" you would add it as "silverbow_uo".

Are you 100% certain that the UO account you want to link has been completely severed from its old EA account, i.e., it no longer shows up in the drop-down list for the old account?

And yes, as Hoffs indicated, the link page is where you would put your account name appended with "_uo".

Yep, same problem here....
after weeks of email tag with customer support I finally got the account un-linked.....now I can't link it to any other master account, I continue to play email tag with customer support, I've explained to them 3 times now uosupport has already un-linked the game account from the master account for me, and I now need to link the game account to my other master account (putting _uo after my account name does not work).....I keep getting the reply: to change your master account password follow this link..... It's like the don't speak English (read English) or something??? changing my mythic master account password that they just un-linked the game account from is no help to me. (I can log into my old master account and see the game account has been un-linked, why on earth would I need to change the password when I can log into that master account and see it no longer has a game account linked to it? because they un-linked it for me )

Just a FYI....anyone looking forward to the RTB that has not linked their old account to mythic yet had better get started now.....It's going to take you a month of email tag before you can even log in.....by then RTB will be over.

yes, if you don't see the account in question in the list that is where you put your account info....

(use your game log in info not your master mythic account info but with _uo after your game log in account name)

OK THE PROBLEM IS BROADSWORD SAYS THAT THEY HAVE UNLINKED THE ACCOUNTS AND THEY ARE BUT THEY ARE STILL IN THE DROP DOWN MENU ON THE OTHER PERSONS MASTER MYTHIC ACCOUNT AND THERE FOR CAN NOT BE LINKED TO A NEW MASTER ACCOUNT (IM ASSUMING) FROM WHICH I NEED IN ORDER TO CONTINUE PAYMENTS ... SO JUST BECAUSE BROADSWORD HAS THE ACCOUNTS UNLINKED I GUESS STILL DOSENT MEAN THEY CAN BE ADDED TO A NEW MYTHIC MASTER ACCOUNT I MEAN THESE ACCOUNTS WERE GIVEN TO ME ... and i want them linked to my own personal mythic master account why is this so difficult sorry if sound harsh but...

I would "guess" you're assuming correctly but don't quote me on that....
However, I got the email saying they have successfully un-linked the game account for me, and the account is not in the list on the old master account, and I still can't link it to any of my master accounts.....I'm going to give it till monday and if they can't get it right I'm keeping that account closed and that's a few bucks they miss out on(It's taken way too long already and their customer support is unacceptable to the point of being a joke)..... I'm thinking they're outsourcing jobs to india or something and customer support don't understand english or how to do their jobs very well

The account I had un-linked was mine from day one....bought and paid for by me. so why this is such a issue for them to get right I have no clue....

To think, anyone wanting to return for RTB to give the game another try and is going to be faced with this type of customer support is just going to turn around and run and never look back again.....

First off, please stop typing in all caps. It tends to turn people off from wanting to help and it is very annoying.

Second, it sounds like your account isn't actually unlinked since its still in the drop-down menu.

The reason you can't link your account is due to the Sun's solar flares. It's plain for all to see, people.

It took two weeks to get them to unlink the accounts just to have them say they have done it and now to find out that they havent technically been unlinked since they cant be added to a new mythic ea account so now i have to go back to practically begging them to not just unlink the accounts but unlink the accounts in such a manner that they can be added to a different mythic master account seriously .... I agree all caps is annoying and hard to read. Anyway, EA is still in charge of accounts not Broadsword. So the procedure you followed a year ago should be the same except it might be by email now instead of a call. There have always been issues with account management since it was implemented.

Customer support works on Saturday's. I got a email last night at 11pm EST and finally got my account linked to where I wanted it ....

I understand that customer support has a routine they must follow for the safety of the accounts rightful owner, It's just the time it takes to play the email tag game will drive you nuts .....

Even though it took way way way way too long, I do appreciate their help in getting this done for me.... customer support, Thank you!!!
