Was just thread a read not long back were a Dev stated there are some items that he as never seen in the game that were put in to it....cant find the thread but wasnt too long ago....maybe theres a mini boss area yet to be tapped....maybe a few have found something and keep it quiet and farm away....just wondering

Well, more like 4 years old since it was part of the High Seas expansion, but your point is well made.

Actually, just since November 2013. So, less than a year. We're talking about the plotline to build the underwater suit to get to the ship in Malas. (Where we strangely find the Shadowlords which we defeated in 2009...)

True Dot... but if I am remembering correctly in the post the Dev seemed to be indicating there were things going back for a few years that still had not been uncovered, not just with that plotline.

If memory serves me an old original dev said that we still had things in game to find they put in and have yet to locate... and the current dev did say there were a few possible easter eggs out there...

i think under the sea quest wasnt 4 years ago....surely no more than 6-9 months??? if thats were i did read the dev quote?? probably was...

There was a comment about that regarding ter mur so I went all around the boundaries trying to figure out where I could teleport and try to find secrets. Attempted to go under bridges and water areas like under the tailor shop. There were even graphic errors or a level under the imbuing area where items came up through the ground so tried to locate that. I reported it as a bug though many years ago and they are gone so must have been a bug. Got bored without any successes. Also, there were supposed to be new trophies added from some creatures, but never could get my crafter skills onto a template to kill and try every new creature in ter mur expansion.

Both of these are still on my to do list, but how to find the time...

well i know one thing after the change a couple years ago when stuff started spawning again in static chests around the land items put in these chests do not decay this goes for both chests that spawn stuff and empty one the only thing that can delete item put in chests are if there is a new patch and not all patches delete the items so when i m out hunting in areas with chests I use to put large piles of gold and minor rares if have them on me for people to find in these chests

When I saw the topic of this thread, it reminded me of all the things that *I* have not experienced in game. Lots of reasons for this. I get side tracked, I take long uo-cations, no interest, lack of knowledge of an particular experience. I just realized the other day that my home furniture maker (carpenter) still isn't a GM. She only shows up when one of the sisters needs a new piece of furniture. Since that same character chops the wood we sisters need, she still isn't GM lumberjack either. THAT got me to thinking about what would happen if all 6 of my sisters GMed their skills! We have a fishing sister who still isn't GM fisherwoman. What different adventures might we encounter.

And that led me to think about UO and the vastness of it.

A few months ago a fellow High Guardsman on LS went on a tour with me. Then we were whisked away by our kindly EM to a location that was introduced with High Seas I believe. We both had an enjoyable evening scouting locations new to us.

And one of them "hidden location" is Sudiva's Beach (known originally as Lenmir Anfinmotas, Ilshenar, north of Spirituality Moongate) for me. It was once reachable by an EM Eventgate (on Drachenfels at least) , but now its not possible, because the gate does not work anymore.
And since that writing competition, I think practically no shard had the possibility to visit Sudiva... too bad IMHO, because I love old UO history!
