They have been paying for the account. Now you want it back? Even before the new account management system, you were out of luck.
I informed my nephew that his account now belongs to me because its linked with my others, and he is now SOL. It will be a cold day in lets just say in Alaska before I give it back to him.

When I left the game, I gave all my accounts to my closest game friends. They have been paying for them for a few years now. I could never consider them "mine" anymore.

I wonder if you'd still be raising this much of a fuss over the account if you got it back but the age was rolled back for the six years or whatever you didn't pay for it and didn't earn. I wish I could have conned someone into paying for my accounts for the 2 years or so I didn't play so I could have shard shields too!
I think the moral of the story here is that you shouldn't just give your account information to people "just to give them access to the account" even if you will not be using it for an extended period. I am betting either the recipient perceived it as a gift or simply decided to take advantage of the situation.

I can get a title for said car under a bond. Here after three years if the owner comes around wanting their car back, well as a great mind has stated, "Get Bent" And in less then three years they still don't get the car back. Just some chump change for not keeping their things in order. That whole 9/10ths thing.
And I'll go with what the great lady has said. Is trumped by pushing that "I AGREE" button.

Oh please do return to an owner an account I have been paying on for nearly a decade. With the other accounts that frees up a load of beer money. State of UO today. Beer is on the heels of UO for what is needed more.
What the great lady should of also said. "We will return an account to an owner if noone has paid for even one month after the owner's last paid month." In any case if accounts are fully being hacked and others are taking control through pure evil. Would anyone want to play UO any longer?
