Becuse EA hates theifs that steal from other players? They hate them so much they have gone out of their way to destroy them over the last 10 years. You would think the player base would catch up with EA and realise stealing from players was a mistake and they should have just made artifacts in beta and called the stealing skill artifacting.
Desperate? No, not at all, but why should they be blessed? They are a consumable material that should be stealable. They are worth gold on a vendor, I should have the chance to sell them on my vendor...la

They are not Blessed on Production shards. So go figure
They aren't technically "blessed" but they cannot be stolen, I believe the game tells you they are of no worth to you when you attempt to take one from someone's pack...la
bods. The physical bod entity is not able to be stolen. Some of the rewards are stealable, and some are not. Why are any of them not stealable. hell, I have been able to steal hammers out of smith packs, why shouldn't I be able to steal a reward deed?...laCome on .... toss out a "hard one"
Because if they were made stealable, people would post saying "it's insulting that such a bulls__t item is stealable but more useful stuff isn't?"

Then why are single gold coins stealable? Why are single lock picks able to be stolen? Why is a feather able to be stolen? But not a repair deed?
Is there some logic behind what the developers set to be able to be stolen and what can't? If so, I'd love to hear an explaination...la

It depends on the original item that whatever something new is based on. Many things use the same graphic as an older item with a new name and a different color.
It seems like this isn't just a graphic, but an actual item id association, because when you click on one of these things you see the original item's name very briefly, which wouldn't happen if it was just reusing graphics without some connection to the original item properties.
Whatever repair deeds came from were probably set to not be stealable. I don't remember what first used that graphic, many things do these days, but if you could trace it back to the original it would probably make more sense.

That can't be correct. There are too many things that contradict that logic. Especially different types of deeds. They are the same object as checks...some are stealable, other are not. Some are blessed, others are not.

If they made them stealable and made Bods stealable no one would carry them and no smith would do bods in fel.
So they would be able to be stolen but no one would carry them soooooo it would be pointless....ha

oooo a good point yes...if that shard is suppose to be made as old school. They should remove the bless just like they did with the Royal legs and Helms and stuff.
Other than the single Siege bless, I'd like to see all items unblessed on Siege...including spell and rune books. It would be funny to steal a mages spell book and then use it to cast spells against them, lol...la
RoT maybe the suck, but it helps weed out the undesirables, (not sure how I've made it so long). I hope we will soon see some changes to the current system. I'm just guessing here, but I think the system could be made a lot better by only making some minor changes to the amount of skill players can train every 24 hours.

Funny for you maybe......extremely irritating for anyone else.
Your attitude is the exact reason why thieves were nerfed in the first place. All reward ....no risk playstyle.
Actually thieves have tons of risk. They are freely killable and lootable by anyone, without going gray or ever taking a murder count. Not to mention how hard it is to actually steal something from someone and get away.
All reward? You are kidding right? Yeah, God forbid a player actually enjoys the game...la

I find the Tailoring Repair Deeds by an Elder Tailor are two ply and super absorbant...
Or you can use them as coasters on the nice wooden furniture...la

Yeah it's really hard to steal something, turn into a dog and run away at mounted speed. Your skill impresses me so much.
Yep that's why EA nerfed thieves into the ground and no other game has a class that allows anything near what used to be the thief class in UO.
