Please put a little more thought into your response in the future, thanks!*Sigh*
Ok, is this better, *sigh* why must you needlessly create completely pointless threads about things which will never happen and make absolutely no sense, at all in any way in this medieval role playing game, did they have guns in real medieval times? no, did they have cannons? yes, were guns invented 20 years after cannons in real life, no, so guess what, that means UO can have can cannons and not guns. Please put a little more thought into your response in the future, thanks!
I thought it was a shotgun actually, and Lord British brought it with him from Earth, it is assumed it was lost after he abdicated the throne. We had a musket at Ultima VII, though, and to this day I wonder why we don't have it on UO.
We didn't have dragons in the middle ages either, yet walk into Destard and try to tell them they don't exist.Ok, is this better, *sigh* why must you needlessly create completely pointless threads about things which will never happen and make absolutely no sense, at all in any way in this medieval role playing game, did they have guns in real medieval times? no, did they have cannons? yes, were guns invented 20 years after cannons in real life, no, so guess what, that means UO can have can cannons and not guns.
Do you know just how simple a device a firearm is? Especially a musket or other non-cartridge gun? I'll give you a hint: Simpler than a repeating crossbow.IF they could make it UO style, like "an explosion potion launcher" or something it would at least make a little sense, and make it shoot potions farther than we can throw them now.
So you come in and **** on my thread because you believe you remember the devs saying no guns, but you aren't wiping your bottom all over the latest free to play thread.Ok, this answer should finish this, Ultima = game , developers = gods of the game , gods of the game say no guns = conversation over. they have said it multiple times in game over the years, possibly on forums somewhere to.
