Today, on my second attempt on the same problem, I only lasted almost an hour and a half. 1:06 PM to 2:32 PM...No response at all...Great Lakes if that matters. The last time was over 3 hours before I gave up but I didn't document and thought it would be nice to give everyone a place to log their failures (or even their successes) but just times...not the problem...in an effort to prove that the tooth fairy, err I mean GMs, don't exist.

There was one time I was doing a shard transfer, apparently the shard I was transferring to hit server down during it, causing my account to be "locked" on both Atlantic and the shard I transferred to, it kept saying transfer was in progress even days later. I paged with another of my accounts on Atlantic, Pacific (the destination shard) , and Europa hoping there was at least one GM that saw it...I waited 3 weeks, not a response from any of the shards. (eventually I fixed it myself by starting a transfer from Europa to pacific which seemed to knock everything back into place)

So if it is a difficult case, or they are not sure what to do...they just ignore and don't do anything? Not even getting canned responses on my page. Is there any hours of operation that I need to be aware of? Because

Yesterday, waited 2 minutes. I was out taming in the Lost Lands and a tameable spawned in an inaccessible area. I paged and invis'd. Before my invisibility wore off a GM appeared in game, moved the critter to the ground and waved goodbye.

About 3 months ago a guildie and I were farming Fire Daemons in NW Ter Mur. Again one spawned down below near the lava and out of reach. We paged a GM and after about 5 minutes a GM appeared in game and moved it up top where we could reach it.

Either I've had good luck or maybe spawn issues are easier to handle and they can take care of it quickly. This was on Pacific.

I accidentally put on both colors of the Potion of Invisibility on my commodity vendor.
This bugs the commodity vendor.
You can't price the second listing, you can't remove the second listings inventory.
You can't fire the broker because it needs to be empty.
This has happened before with other items (gorgon lens) and I always submit a bug report and to the bug tracking forum.
Was hoping this time they could retrieve my stuff, or even just fire my darn broker for me so I could start over and I will take a loss on the 1500 potions.
Instead, after clearing out all my other inventory, I have to set my bid matching to zero and wait 6 days (right now) before the lease is up. Then I have to wait 7 days while the inventory remains in the warehouse superintendent until it finally decays from there and then I can start a new commodity vendor and hope I don't make the same mistake.
Done it before the hard way...just getting annoyed with it and their lack of fixing these bugs...or at least acknowledging them. I think I know more about their commodity vendor system than they do as of now. Oh well 40 minutes of my garg flapping his wings on GL...journal up...got to hit the head ...hope I don't miss the GM or timeout.

nope sugar we are not.... sometimes in our haste we forget to do it simply...
As a old Counselor I read many que's questions and to be frank they left alot to be desired in information....
Be short and to the point.

Most of the time, it is the way you are phrasing your problem and what words you use. Listen to Lady Storm, - phrase it directly with little clue of misunderstanding. That will make it easy for them to solve the problem, rather than escalating it to a senior.

Sometimes you have to put it with baby words for them to get it right and help you in short time.

Trying again. Using Lady Storm's words. Thought the words I used were pretty basic and direct before but willing to try others. Started at 6 PM will let you know my results.

Now imagine I am a new player (granted a new player wouldn't have fell in love with a half baked buggy as crap system like commodity vendors but let's imagine that anyhow) You try calling for help once waiting for 3 hours...no word...nothing. You try again when you have some free time...wait an hour and half...nothing again. You try again...this time your patience and time constraints only allow you an hour to wait. As a new player would you try again and waste the last 22 minutes and continue waiting.
Well I am still waiting...place your bets...the over under is at four hours.
As for now...the silence is deafening. Oh well more later.

Oops...forgot to move. Lost conn while getting up to tend to my son. Now I never know if my original request remains or not. So I sent in another request just in case.
Through 198 months of playing UO I would know how to do a GM call...but one thing UO has taught me through its in game support is self reliance and how to bend over and take it.

Things you learn while waiting...you cannot put the letters GM on a vendor name or at least not on a Magincia Bazaar vendor. Still no joy. These recent reports of fast GM response are all lies I tell you.

Even telco companies break the monotony by asking every 30 minutes if you want to remain on hold. I miss the days when they told you want number in the queue you were.

They out waited me again. I am getting too old to waste this amount of time on a game while NOT getting enjoyment. (My wife thinks I am too old to waste this amount of time even if I am enjoying it)
Frankly if I were Broadsword, I'd be pretty embarrassed.
I counted up the age in months from all 4 of my accounts and came up to 734 and started doing the math of what I have paid to this game.
This might be the straw for this camel.

! your wife is not a gamer i take it... first off you can tell her the game is a way to keep your skills up memory, hand eye, and reflexes.. yes reflexes.. you should see someoen move if their guna get waxed in pvp... the heart rate alone gives the game a thumbs up...
Not to mention the brain useage... no altimers here if you keep at this .....
As for the wait.... I am not sure if the GM's are still under EA or have moved to Broadsword. If still in EA hands they have the other games I bet to contend with.... then us.... though most get a gm in under an hour... I can see your fustration...
