Yes on one shard its archers on another its mystic chars, and on another its sampires all controlled by the one mouse , I use multiple accounts myself but cannot control them like they do i have to click one screen or the otherplaying more than one account at a time is legal! controlling multiple accounts at the same time doing the same actions with the same mouse for example is not!
The program necessary to run two clients? Or the program necessary to control two clients with one mouse click?I vote for someone putting the program necessary to do so in this thread. that way its out there for all and no one has an advantage.
I strongly advise against doing that.I vote for someone putting the program necessary to do so in this thread. that way its out there for all and no one has an advantage.
Don't worry everyone already does..just claim not to.I vote for someone putting the program necessary to do so in this thread. that way its out there for all and no one has an advantage.
Its only illegal if you get caught right? and not many people seem to be getting caught...!
Ya I don't know it either..I was just being silly!!I don't know what program this is either. Not everyone knows the info you claim is common.
Why?I strongly advise against doing that.
Why? Because it is against UO regulations and, since we are graced with the presence of UO devs on this forum, we cannot be posting information on illegal programs/exploits/etc here. Why?
I strongly advise you stop acting like an authority. Your UO skills are limited as is to consider yourself a viable contributor to the community at all. Regardless of your self-imposed web administrator status, supported by a development team that would've been laughed off of Origin's lot when Garriott was at the helm.
Multi-boxing is supported by Windows. You right click on Ultima Online and 'Run as Administrator'. There is no 3rd party program necessary.
I see nothing wrong with multi-boxing if you are not using a 3rd party application to do so.
How is multi-boxing exploitation? If one has two monitors, two accounts and wants to multi-box it is no different than doing so with two computers which is not illegal at all or frankly anybody's business. Why? Because it is against UO regulations and, since we are graced with the presence of UO devs on this forum, we cannot be posting information on illegal programs/exploits/etc here.
Take it up with Mythic/Broadsword, they're the ones who make the rules about what goes in UO.How is multi-boxing exploitation? If one has two monitors, two accounts and wants to multi-box it is no different than doing so with two computers which is not illegal at all or frankly anybody's business.
Of course you're somebody that spends far too much time of your life on an internet forum replying to others about a game you're not even good at. I am not convinced at all that you're experienced enough to remark on the subject matter.
There is nothing in the Terms of Service preventing me from right clicking on Ultima Online, selecting "Run as Administrator", moving it to my other monitor and playing my second overpriced subscription.Take it up with Mythic/Broadsword, they're the ones who make the rules about what goes in UO.
Sounds like you don't have a clue what 'multi-boxing' actually is.There is nothing in the Terms of Service preventing me from right clicking on Ultima Online, selecting "Run as Administrator", moving it to my other monitor and playing my second overpriced subscription.
If Mythic/Broadsword has an issue, they can take it up with me. I'm not going to lower myself to their lackluster organizational/developmental standards.
Well, if you get caught and they do something about it, they will take it up with you in the form of a ban (temporary or permanent). There is nothing in the Terms of Service preventing me from right clicking on Ultima Online, selecting "Run as Administrator", moving it to my other monitor and playing my second overpriced subscription.
If Mythic/Broadsword has an issue, they can take it up with me. I'm not going to lower myself to their lackluster organizational/developmental standards.
Multi-boxing is running two clients on one operating system which is perfectly legal without the use of third party applications.Sounds like you don't have a clue what 'multi-boxing' actually is.
You should educate yourself as to what it is before you make yourself look like a bigger fool than you already have.
You left out the second (and most important) part of multi-boxing.Multi-boxing is running two clients which is perfectly legal without the use of third party applications.
Multi-boxing is running two clients on one operating system which is perfectly legal without the use of third party applications.
Now you're changing the context instead of admitting I'm right.
Go back and read the context of the discussion on what everyone is saying is illegal rather than looking at one word and creating drama over it. See the post right above this one.
You're a bad gamer. I completely obliterate you in every single aspect of Ultima Online, including unwaivered comprehension of the Terms of Service and Rules of Conduct. You left out the second (and most important) part of multi-boxing.
Multi-boxing allows you to control all clients, doesn't matter how many, SIMULTANEOUSLY.
Now you're changing the context instead of admitting I'm right.

Multi-boxing without a third party application does not equate to 'botting' or the use of any illegal means to multi-box.
End of discussion.
Your poor argument has already been addressed. Is this your desperate attempt to save face or something? Far too late for that..
Your poor argument has already been addressed.
With multiple subscriptions I can legally, simultaneously have as many characters logged in as I wish. No, you haven't addressed anything at all. All you did was demonstrate that you have poor critical thinking and reading comprehension skills.
Do you even know what the word 'simultaneous' even means ? (serious question)
Please stop. "Multiboxing" in UO has only one meaning, and one meaning only. It's not just running multiple accounts, but to run multiple accounts simultaneously linked to a "main" one. With multiple subscriptions I can legally, simultaneously have as many characters logged in as I wish.
You just gave me an idea!!!!!!you guys are so predictable. my post was tongue in cheek.
you pay for 5 accounts. you stand at yew gate with a level 6 focus on all. a red comes by and by pressing one button all characters t storm and wipe him out. if you think this is in the spirit of fair play than your essentially an idiot.
just because you play an old game with out dated code that can be manipulated doesn't mean you should do so.
this has nothing to do with paying for 10 accounts. that doesn't give you admiral frequent flyer status.
actually if you have 10 accounts I can make a good case your wasting your life on this earth.
And to the guy that flamed petra, I'd say sir that you are a classless newb. until you put your time in serving the community as she does you have no say in this discussion.
this discussion has no bearing on someone's ability to play this game.
Actually there's a in game command to auto follow..negative..Please stop. "Multiboxing" in UO has only one meaning, and one meaning only. It's not just running multiple accounts, but to run multiple accounts simultaneously linked to a "main" one.

When other clients are not being individually controlled, but following a main one, it falls under the unattended macroing policy. You can have as many clients as your PC can handle. I can have my paladin sit around while my miner mines, and I can switch to my paladin if I pull up an ore elemental. But I cannot use "multiboxing" to have my paladin follow my miner around automatically.
Yes, though that's not the kind of "following" I'm talking about. I didn't want to get into too many details, but it's not having the character behaving automatically.Actually there's a in game command to auto follow..negative..
What you cannot do it have that second client performing task by only using one mouse and keyboard without switching client windows..
Alt+Click before things get supa loco up in here!
