It really does reveal a lot of exciting things planned for the future. I mentioned this video in gen chat and realized some had not seen it. Some of you Siege folk should get out more often...

I watched a good portion of this the other night, there seems to be some decent points and solutions made. However, I am unclear on the economic changes to the game. (after all the only two servers that aren't plagued by it is siege and mugen)
I was also shocked to hear the question about more land for housing.... I see 18x18's on just about every shard. I also have seen a few servers with open castle locations.
The governor changes seem interesting.

We really really really really NEED player versus player to return within houses on siege perilous.
There is no reason to have people immune to player versus player inside PUBLIC set houses. Thieving should also be allowed.

You will have to pardon my feelings of discontent. Factions happens to be my favorite part of the game and really the only aspect of the game that has held my interest in recent years. I am pretty certain you and others might feel the same if a portion of the game you enjoy, such as custom housing or perhaps the tamer class, were being completely removed from the game.

Just finished watching it.
some good some bad... the factions thing about not having enough players to continue it... sadness overwelms me.
some of my best memories in uo are faction raids for hours on end.
faction players have to understand its been a thing coming for many years.. the loss of the game in game.
I always thought addition of having to pick a faction on creation of a char... like horde and alliance in wow would force people into it. but of course no now wants to be forced.
sad they are making a new system.. in stead of coming up with a faction revamp... but ya know.. its understood.
whatever uos future holds ill he there paying my monthly subscription till the plug is pulled like i always have.

Yes, you should....We should host a SP hangout. Just SP players. Kat will appear and keep it lively.
That is a good ideal, some game changes just don't go over as well on siege as they do on other shards. The best move I've seen in years for siege was the housing change. As others have stated on here Factions are more popular here than other shards but i agree that changes are needed to attract a larger player base.We should host a SP hangout. Just SP players. In all seriousnss, I do think this would be well worth a try. A roundtable discussion is something I have suggested/promoted (in particular to discuss factions) for many years. I volunteer to keep Flair from doing any serious damage to anyone

So what exactly are we doing here? Is this an attempt to get the Dev's to talk about Siege stuff? or is this prominent Siege players joining in the chat? I am not sure I understand the goal...

What's the number one reason folks give regarding why they keep playing? Or why they returned after trying other games? I suspect that the answer is something along the lines of "the people" or "the community." Sometimes it's easy to think of folks here as usernames--staff, posters, lurkers. The more opportunities we have to interact as humans, the stronger we can become as a community.
There'd have to be some ground rules--keep it PG-13, show mutual respect, temper criticism with constructive discussion, etc. But as we discussed in previous meetings, I think it'd be interesting and beneficial.

Do you mean UO in general or Siege?
