When was the last time that the Origin store offered a discount ?

I remember in the past the Origin store offering discounts for Ultima Online codes.

When was the last time this happened ? Anyone remembers ?

Also, I seem to remember that the Devs have been planning a Returning Players to UO window for a while (is it close by the way ?), perhaps it would be a good occasion that with the Returning Players to UO at the same time the Origin Store would also offer again discounts for Ultima Online codes ?

A few years ago.. 3-4 to be exact.. I was trying to restart my accounts, but it was totally different; because of the mythic stuff. I didn't have a way to log in, so I had to spend literal hours on the phone getting routed and set up. I finally got set up, and they offered me a code for my trouble. Went to buy a few things, put in code, and it wouldn't work. Called them back, and asked about code. Oh, it was good for an EA product that was non-UO.. It was almost like they wanted me to get a different game!! but that was around 4 years ago; stuff in UO is looking bright now

The discounts differ by region so it depends on where in the world you are.

I believe the last sale on UO items was July 2013, but I'd have to check my emails to be exact.

Even then, it was just High Seas and Stygian Abyss on sale half price for a few hours.

I keep Origin UO item page bookmarked on google chrome bookmarks bar and check throughout the day for sales since they tend to last for only a few hours.

When I do see one I usually announce it in game in general chat.

I also from time to time ask here for UO items, other than game time codes, to be put on sale.

No luck so far with that.

I'd also like to buy some things but I feel it would be fiscally irresponsible to spend full price fees for something that may be here today and gone tomorrow...

IMHO, Origin was a bad idea implemented very, very, very poorly.

That is why it seems to me a good idea to couple the Return to Britannia time window that I heard time back was being thought about with a new promotional/discounted sale of Ultima Online codes at the Origin store.
It has been a long time since the last discounted sale (so it should be about time for another...) AND returning Ultima Online players could get a good incentive to get back to the game getting also discounted codes which could help out their returning to the game.

Neither paypal nor credit card.
The last 25 minutes i telephoned with them.
Result: cant help, problem is forwarded and
i have to expect an answer in 2 weeks!!!!!!

All my orders are paid. There was never a Problem.
They have no clue and dont know what to do.
The only positiv is, that all my accounts are paid for the next 4 month.

Today i received a new mail from customer[email protected] with the same stupid questions that i already answered at the last 25 minute phone call.
Since 05.03.2014 i cant buy anything at origin.com with my CC or PayPal.
In this period i paid several bills with CC and PayPal and all went well.
Only Origin dont want my money.
And there only stupid suggestion is that i should check my credit limit.
I can assure you that my credit limit is x times higher than that from this dumb support workers.
At this point i was so angry that i pledged for Shroud of the Avatar - Edelmann - all digital.

Having the store available in game was mentioned a while back. Frankly one of my greatest hopes for the ingame vendor search is that it is a precusor to just such a system.

When was the last time you referred a friend and signed them up to play Ultima Online.

Quit asking for a discount and start signing up your friends. In the end it will drive down the price of admission.

We are all happy to pay what we are asked at this point and that is proved for years now.

You want a discount leverage the volume.
