Need Macro Help!

Can anyone tell me how to fix my favorite char? Have three macros set up, for attack, heal, etc (archer) that I have been using for years, on all the non mage chars, across several shards. Hunted this morning, all seemed well. Logged in just now, they will not work.

They are tied to the F1 F2 F3 keys, but it isn't that the keys went bad, they work on other characters, I even went in and remade the macros (the old ones were still there) thinking it just wasn't reading them for some reason, to no avail. Seems an ally had similar issues last night.

Any ideas?

Try deleting the macro folder for that character and generating a fresh one and then remake the macros of copy/paste the old macro file into there?

Copied the folder over from another shard. It worked!!!

I've played UO since 2000, I know that client like the back of my hand at this point. =] Usually when that happens deleting and remaking the character profile is the solution.

By the way, talking about UO macros, if I look at the Classic Client ALT-O Options for Macros, I get a headache with all of the macros possible from the list.

Is there somewhere a comprehensive guide that teaches how to use them and correctly write them for best results ?
