Character frozen and squelched

I tried to character copy now I'm frozen and squelched..the message said an error has occurred and to page a GM or try again later..well that's all fine and dandy, but it won't allow me to open the help request because I'm stuck in the middle of a damn transfer/copy

if you cant log into that shard go to another shard and page a GM with the details of the shard you are having trouble.

I had an issue much like that a ways back called from another shard went on and played on a completely different shard and the GM found me

Yea I was just worried if I logged out my stuff would some magical UO way be lost in some black hole somewhere

As long as you were using "Character Copy" and not "Character Transfer", that should never happen (in theory).

I had that happen. I logged out and back in and was fine. That's not to say something weird might not happen to you, just that logging completely out of UO fixed me.

Took about 4 logouts..each more nerve racking then the next..but something quite interesting actually happened. On the 4th login, I was actually teleported to vesper bank...all my armor is on me bank is fine, no character on test or anything..just seemed a bit strange I was teleported

Sounds like you were "black-holed" for some reason and unable to load. Sometimes the system recognizes it and automatically teleports you to another location.
