Looking for a Zoom-able Map of UO

Where can I find a detailed map of UO to zoom around? I tried Stratics world map and it came up with a page of errors when I clicked on it. I recall it used to work, not sure.

I didn't find a map on UOGuide, but I may have used the wrong search term. Anyone have a source for a map?

EDIT: Just found a very nice map on a free-shard website - so I'm good.

These errors have been happening for a very long time. I used to use the zoomable map frequently, and was quite unhappy when it stopped working. Could you please provide a link to the new map site you found? Or send it in a PM? Pretty please?

EC Client

I use the EC client and its maps just isn't very good for anything except close a close area around you. The labels in the EC map are just about useless because they move away from the marked waypoints and make a confusing mess. I like the EC map for treasure hunting, but other than that is it probably the worst feature of EC. The map I was looking for, and others I've used before, fill the whole monitor if you wish, have nice detail, with pan and zoom.

Ahhh, perhaps it is Pincos UI that is keeping things stable for me.

I have it installed and it makes the EC client work like a dream.

I said nothing stability, EC is very stable for me. The map just doesn't do a very good job of long-distance exploring.

This is what I was refering to when I mentioned stability. I haven't had this happen in Pincos.

The map in Pincos does all this, you can also select different facets than the on you are on.
Give it a try, it's all in game.

My dream would be to have a googlemap for UO. I know such has been created for WoW. Unfortunately my skills are woefully inadequate to the task and the time it would take to create such an entity is sadly not available to most people.

Dude... I know all about the map in Pincos. It doesn't work.

Ya, I hear you. The map I was referring to was created with Silverlight, and I think you can do the same in Flash. I just never learned to use either Silverlight of Flash.

I've had this issue with the EC too. I primarily play CC, but sometimes out sailing I'll hop on EC just for the superior map. I've found that clicking the "center map on player" and "tilt map" boxes a few times usually seems to reset the map and lock down the waypoints. (This is with Pinco's.)

Just seems one client and twice the work would get done with the current number of worker bees. Maybe some higher math is needed.

be nice if CC map moved like ECs.. but been tinkering around with EC very slowly (but pinco's is a must) --- EC is actually pretty good

Kojak put up some nice tutorials helping CC users with the Maps..

Just search Kojak Automap.. lots of my CC using friends got everything to work right with his tips.
