Imbue Issue

ATL
APPROX 2000 HRS

Original shield:

Metal Shield
Dur +100%
Soul charge 20%
Mana Reg 1
Fast Cast 1
Fire 1%
Greater Magic
254/254

I removed the +100% mod to add dci using imbue. It lowered the 254/254 to 108/108!! (not supposed to happen!)

The +100% to +1%.. (supposed to happen)

I put back on the +DUR mod to attempt to undo the DUR/DUR issue.

Now im at 208/208.

Shield with the same mods.. now imbue tagged.. so its not able to he POF ever again.

Shield now:

Metal Shield
Imbued
Durability +100%
20% Soul Charge
Mana Gen 1
Fast Cast 1
Fire 1%
208/208

So yeah same shield.. now cursed to break in the future with no gain.

Sounds like a glitch to me.

I wish their was a nevermind button.

It was my fault. After pof'ing up the shield, I wanted to see if there was room to put some dci, and could only put 1 single % of dci on there, then I had the miraculous idea of lowering the already present +100 durability mod to make room for the dci. Yeah cautionary word of advice, don't do that. It lowered the after pof total, and went to go put it back on, and it only went back to the 208 (which is mathematically correct, just really sucked.) Hopefully this derptacular lesson will save somebody with similar thoughts of trying to win the game a dastardly lesson in the harshities of being an igmo.

p. s. Azmo I got you a nice shield to replace that one with.

Yeah things happen but lowering a mod should not effect the DUR right?

lol well nevermind then!! and it was not ur fault.. unforeseen issue. i still believe its something that was overlooked or should not be linked

just curious but maybe the dur was overcapped?
so when you messed around with it and dropped it you could then only go up to the player cap.

know what i mean?
so say you had a shield that you refined and lucked out and got like 4MR on it.
we cant go that high normally, so its overcapped right.
so you then decided to pull it down to 1MR, which it does, then you decided you made a mistake and wanna put it back up it will only let you go to 2MR which is our cap.

im guessing your running into the same problem just with the dur (or hidden dur)

yeah something like that heh... just sucks cuz you typically want to max DUR before imbue.. lol..

Yeah, you do. But taking off a mod that adds durability.. is always going to lower the durability.

so basically the +DUR mod makes any piece trash.. because you remove it to open up room.. at the same time will jack your DUR/DUR... and afterwords being imbued your piece can't be POF anymore... so your screwed and the piece won't have much life.

sounds like an oversight.

but ur able to remove it... but doing so jacks ur DUR in which you can't POF back up

You still can enhance the shield with dull to increase its dura back. But with how much dura you would end that way. (If enhancing doesnt fail.)

ill just start putting DUR mod into the trash bag with briddle .. neg luck etc bag
