Good idea, goes with the town loyal theme. I was lucky, the first day I took each of my gals on both accts to get their gifts. That was plenty for me. Even sweeter was meeting so many players along the way.

Interesting comments. I agree that IF you're going to call it a "gift", make it one. That means it appears in your backpack. I'm also getting tired of the EM/Devs names on them. Not that I don't respect what they do, but I don't need their name on everything. Petra's idea, or something similar, would be cool. I also don't mind going to Fel. I live their on my main shard. I'm not an uber PvP'er, but I have learned to at least hold my own one on one. Some characters will do better than others. I've always been a marginal dueling mage in spite of instruction from good players, but can generally do ok in the field. I go to Fel for fun. It's a different gaming experience. I was a hard core FPS player for years, so I do like the challenge of fighting another player. At the same time, I log in a majority of the time and just go do something relaxing. If I'm in the mood for a challenge, I go to Fel. If you don't want to go to Fel for your "clicky", don't. No one made you go. By going you understood, and took, the risk. If you died? Oh well, it's not like you can't get the present on another character.
They spawn near my house too... and since my Seige guy is basically a crafter I have to take to my heels when I hear that wispy sound.. lol

If it got moved to fel that's a good thing, I can log on my reds and collect the rest of my gifts.
What is the big deal? From someone who had major surgery on Monday the 17th I think everyone who is scared to go to Fel or lose their gifts had plenty of time to claim them before the statue was moved.

Wow after all this time people still get killed at the gate and come here to complain about it?
I still complain about being killed back in 2005 by a group of people( 7 to be exact) and the person who took the screenie of it, after the fact, said 1vs 1 ftw lol I just never posted it till now.
Guess I still have issues of a pixel death from back of the day. I need some professional help. Is there a UO doctor in the house? Btw I am being sarcastic for the ones who are missing it.

The Chessy one was at Skara bank in fel when I got all of my gifts. Other than being on the lookout for thieves, there wasn't any issues since it's town and you can get there using a crystal portal if needed. Even half my crafters have a fel runebook on them. I even took two newbie chars through the moongate to get there.

They don't purr they are snoring. Or as one of my friends says it's the rubble in their tummy as they are about to have an "alien" burst forth from their abdomens.
I don't really care one way or the other about where they put the statues. I'm just disappointed in the gifts of late. Pretty useless when you get 8 of the same item. More if you have multiple accounts. I'd rather have heritage tokens or some other gift deeds where you have several choices to pick from.
