WARNING!! DO NOT CUSTOMIZE YOUR HOUSE WITH A VENDOR IN IT! *NEW BUG - READ*

Today... I lost 750+ mil....

I went to relocate my moving crate but accidently clicked the house customization mode instead. After I canceled the mode, my vendors went out to my house sign. One by one they each vanished and a message went to the corner of my screen saying 'the vendor and it's contents was placed into your bank box'.

(Everyone that has been to my auction knows that I have 3 vendors: Buy Items Here, Lottery Vendor, and Return Runes)

I went to my bank box and there were three bags placed in my bank box:

1) Had the runes and submissions bags
2) Vendor Contract
3) Vendor Contract

NOTE!! - None of the vendors clothing items were included in the bags

I placed the vendor contracts, hoping they were the ones I had previously, and to no evail.

I lost a 15th Anniversary Robe (was on the buy items now vendor) and two custom made suits (not important atm)

I had @Queen Arya ICQ @Nails Warstein to come and help me figure out if the robe was still here or not and we did the following:

- Checked my bank box again
- Cleared everything out of my bank box to ensure that it wasn't the fullness of my bank box holding up the process of it going into it
- Check my moving crate
- Checked and see if the bag or the robe itself went under the house
- Checked to see if i had unclaimed vendor inventory on house sign
- Checked every container in the house to see if it was possibly in a container
- Cleand out my backpack to see if it were there
- Logged out and back in
- Went into customization mode again to see if it re-fix itself

　
I paged a GM but I think there aren't any atm.

Please, I absolutely beg you, to help and see what the deal is on this. I warn everyone to take your vendors apart before customzing. Who knows what else is bugged out.

I lost 750+M because of this bug, who knows what else.

I customized a home recently and now have UO Luck statue under the house sign that cannot be moved and many random locked down things are missing. I did not have any vendors up. I would advise caution going into Customization mode. Sorry for your loss Alex.

Sorry to hear this but wait. Did they change something because use to be if you went into customize mode your OWN vendors are on your avatar. Stand inside your house where you want the vendor to be placed and click on yourself to get them back.

Used to work but been awhile since I tested this since I always rent vendors to my main acct from householder accounts and don't usually customize with vendors inside owned by the same account.

If you can lock it down do so then turn it with a deco tool.

I've noticed that almost all vendors at idocs no longer have their gold in the backpacks they drop when the house falls so it's probably a related bug.

A few months ago I left a Character Statue up and it did the same thing and I had to call a GM for that one.

I don't have 5 hours to never to wait for this one so it's staying if I can't lock it down.

I saw those vendors all the time, it was as he said it was.
This should not happen, at all ever to anyone in game, but especially to one of the finest players I ever met. Ever.

Please, please find out what happened. I will give up all my new pets, my cakes, omg my cakes...

Some Good news has arrived!!!

Mesanna messaged me here on stratics and I answered questions for her, as requested. She popped up at my house while I was in the process of setting up the vendors again for this Sundays Auction. Long story short, I got my robe back and they are in the process of getting on top of this bug.

Mesanna stated that there will be a back up of Atlantic on an internal shard, so they can test my house to see what the issue is. I can't even describe how thankful I am.

Still be warned though, this is a SERIOUS bug and until we hear confirmation on this from the dev team, do NOT customize your house with vendors in it!

What about the many who lost items who weren't helped, as a result of similar housing bugs and whatnot? I'm glad you were helped, this is as it should be. It's just a shame there's no consistent process for this as there is in some other games.

i think it makes things exciting. it sucks to lose something, but i miss the days when you had to even hide your stuff or your house could be robbed. it sucks tho that in the game patches / bugs are more feared becuase of item loss than thieves or murderers.

Good that you got your robe back Alexander.

This is the second time that I was omw to recustomize a part of my town but cancelled that idea because of a new bug.

I Think I will never customize a house again.
