Are you interested in player events but never seem to know when they are taking place?
It's easy to let people in your own circle of friends or alliance know when something is happening, but that still leaves a lot of people out in the cold. I've noticed at my events that the overwhelming majority, if not all, participants are from my own alliance. While I'm certainly pleased to get a good response from my alliance, my events are always open to everyone. I seem not to be reaching large parts of the Chesapeake population!
I sometimes hesitate to send mass messages out because I don't want to spam people who aren't interested. I would like to assemble a list of people who wish to be notified of player events. ICQ numbers preferably, but email addresses will work if you don't have/want ICQ.
This list would be opt-in and only for player events and reminders about EM events.
If anyone is interested in receiving notifications about events please let me know. My ICQ is 1234 98 286. Hopefully we can get a network of interested people going and keep everyone informed.
I will also send a message to everyone currently on my ICQ list asking if they want to be notified of events.
