Been working the solen hives, got every other color...Aqua, Magenta, Pink ...and if I then use a green thorn I also get either a black or white seed. But no Fire [or Blaze colored] seeds. SO....how to change that? Do they come with or without the additional green seed? Much tx in advance for your insights!

How do I get seeds to raise fire red plants?

Norman there is a section here on stratics for gardeners and it has alot of tables for getting the mixed colors ... have you tried there?
no no this isn't any special cross breed or mutation... it's simply one of the types of seeds that the Naturalist will give you for completing his quest...there are initially 4 solen hives to explore and record...then, if you have one, a 5th hive that is available via a green thorn placed in sand...I need to know if the red seed comes from the first four, or must one do the 5th hive to obtain one? The stratics seed section seems rather ambiguous...

I have never gotten a red seed doing the naturist quest.. the pink blue and magenta yes and doing the 5th hive the gold seed using the thorn to access the sand hive. All red seeds I have collected have been from crossings... there are others who know more of the process then I perhaps tina might know.
ahhh I guess it's the gold seed I'm talking about... makes a really nice dye...so I DO get those from using the green thorn on the 5th hive.....very well, that's what I need to know, and tx so much:]

I have two fire red small palms if you want them?
Fire, black and white come from the 5th hole accessed by the green thorn.
Just a PS, I FINALLY got one a moment ago, and for the record it IS called a "Rare Fire Red" seed...although it does look gold:]
