Let us dye them with Haochi's Pigments. I have been trying,and failing,to match the color of my cloak with my umbra robe. Letting me dye the monk robes from Yew would be nice.

the monks robes where put in the game as a punishment.... errr..... nots probably not the best word.
to show the player base that the dev's will find the dupes and kill them no matter how many of them and how much money has been spent on them.

they were put in to devalue the rarity of duped cloak of shadows i think its called, the one we got with AoS. they turned all the duped ones Poop Brown and called them Monks Robes, then put the monk robe seller in to make it so everyone who wanted a poop brown hooded cloak could have one. I too would like to have a dyeable hooded human cloak, but instead of allowing us to dye the Monks Robe they should probably make a new cloak that is dyeable. that way any of the duped cloaks would not have a chance to change into a new rare by some unforseen glitch when coding the change.

I'm still not sure what you're saying. But as Mandrake pointed out, there are dyeable robes today.

Why shouldn't we have dyeable monk robes? Not everyone,including myself,likes the hooded elf robes.
Because of the original duping. However many still remain, the Devs seem to think (if any have given this any thought since) that letting them become dyeable is too much of a reward.
Maybe you're right. How long ago did this dupe happen? Years ago,right? They should let it go and let us have the monk robes so they can be dyed with Haochi's pigments or crafted dyes.
Many years, when AoS was introduced. I can only surmise that Devs today think the situation is fine, since dyeable hooded robes can be obtained.
The Monk's Robes were put in the game as a "replacement item" for people who possessed a robe that was "Glacial Colored."

Indeed, I remember multiple colors, and was wondering "where the hell did these awesome colored hooded robes come from" then about that time the news came out about the dupes. On a side note, what dyeable robes have hoods besides the elven ones? just curious as to what is available.
