*signed* I Don't know why but it seems common place now when ever the devs come out with a new patch it breaks something in game Now By no means am I anyway close to being that computer savvy, but when Hacker can hack government quality Computers Has to be someone with knowledge & know how to actually Make new stuff without breaking the old ...

Originally his item was changed due to the item was being used to disrupt events eith the constant use of it. So it was changed to only be used in houses. Since you guys really dislike this change I will compromise then. I will revert the change so it can be used in your backpack but there is going to be a delay between uses. This will be put in the next publish.

Omfg, thank you soooo much!!
All due respect Mesanna, but you cant give out pom poms and noisemakers and think that people wont use them at your party's.
I gave up on events a year ago due to disruption and griefing. It had nothing at all to do with items that you seeded out to the masses with secondary graphic properties.

If the "extra" animations were really that much of an issue (never seen the items used to grief events myself), then how about curtailing those who constantly spam spells and special moves during events? Then there are the ones who feel the need to spout walls of text over EM speech, could they be nerfed too?
please if possible allow them to be used when locked down as well. its a nice graphic and deserves to be used when displayed. Thx

These 'Events' (which I never attend) are becoming a goddamned nuisance.
Sorry I may be the lone ranger but I'm getting tired of some of the BS changes in the game due to them interfering with the events (See Castle Blackthorn). If you want to change something that's a nuisance change the bleepin' earthquake spell!
I mean what percentage of UO subscribers attend events? I've been to 2 or 3 in 15 years and only if I got wind they were dropping a nice item.
If the vast majority of UO players go to the events then yeah okay but I'm under the impression (perhaps falsely being that I don't attend) that's it's the other way around maybe 10% of players actually bother to go to these events.
To hell with these events if there gonna adversely effect gameplay.
I'm glad to see this heated topic regarding this statuette was finally acknowledged ( it should have been long ago). It was closing in on 2 months and no sign of "the will of the people" dieing out anytime soon.
Props to the mods for letting this thread stay alive and letting it get "necro'd".
Most of all cheers to all of the UO community that made a fuss and wouldn't let this topic die. "Let justice be done though the heavens may fall!"
And last and definitely least : Trolls move on and find another bridge.

I certainly hope not. It was an intricale part of one of my characters RP. And I would be ok with it having a delay of say 1 or 2 min or something but once a day would make it as worthless as only using it locked down.oh i was thinking it would be once a day or once a week. ...hehe then the flame would be very extra special
I couldn't agree more! And wouldn't it be nice if the EM's had the ability to change the graphics of all Dragons at the EM events to Chickens.... still same mods on the dragon but it would appear to be a chicken for the next 3 hours....

We had been able to tame dark wolves when the whole dreadmare thing was going on. Then they had been erased. Just another of the long list of things fixed when they had not been ment to be or twisted some mechanics. Fire beetles working as a ghost to smelt ore. Now there is a change that pissed this combat miner off to no end.
Time will tell when replicas or like effect items are put into the game. Or greedily sold in the O store. Then what names will return and complain.
