I say leave it off.

The conversations are usually foul and frankly disturbing. :sad3:

Hardly ever do the fall within the eight virtues that each Avatar strives towards

It's under Options on the PD, top one on the right side... There is an option to Enable/Disable the Menu Bar.

Once your ignore list breaks 40 you'll find the Chat a much better place. Once you have a good long list hold an auction. Then start banning. If they can't be civil on chat, you don't want them in your home.

Then how, M'Lord, does one practice the virtues - if one is alone?

Practicing the virtues may make us weary, but not trying to make a difference must have its own weight to bear - does it not?

That's a lot of hassle to go through for people who will, in all likely hood, never actually even visit your house.

Tho hast allowed thineself to grow a stranger to hardest of them all, Sacrifice. I says turn to face it, by re-entering global chat so others would not have to. Forsooth, Virtues that become of us naturally are easy to follow, ones most removed from our hearts are the ones that truly test us verily indeed.

When traveling the lands of Sosaria friend, I am far from alone.

When the voices in the head have been stilled, it's actually quite nice to chat with the person I am sitting with by the fire in the Tavern while sipping a glass of Good Old Moonglow Red.

*Stokes Fire*
