Doubts about artificers

Hello!
What is the best race for artificer?
I know its gargoyles has a bonus of 6% in imbue.
Well, the other races can not this bonus?

Train with human..race change to garg..I always have used a human but with resources being so plentiful and cheap, I don't see the point..gargs are ugly

you really need garg when imbuing up to the 550 (bows) and 600 (2handed weapons) the success chance for a max imbue on these types of imbues is only around 6 with garg (11 with queens forge) doing this without the bonus would be very very hard.

also have the fact that it is very easy to lock them in a corner, I agree with you that they are ugly!

Eh, I use human on both my imbuers.
When imbuing 500+ weigh on a normal forge, I have 9% chance to imbue it successfully. But since you don't lose the special ingredients, only essence/relics and the gems when failing, it is not much of a trouble. It just takes a bit more to finish imbuing the item.
Essence/Relics and gems come very cheap nowadays.

i used to use my artificer in actual battle sometime. 120 imbue supports his 110 mysticism. its just a basic character. i have med for mana regen.
