Item Time Out/Disappearing

I was noticing that most items disappear after not being locked down in roughly two hours. I was wondering if there are certain items that prolong the time of two hours or if there are certain items that disappear earlier than two hours. I was wondering what items don't disappear. I know one item , the black cat statuette, is very annoying and does not disappear lol. If I were to put a black cat in a box and throw it on the ground for a day would it go poof?

There are a lot of old items that don't decay. I have about 100 pieces of furniture that were in my castle courtyard for over 5 years

I think the Phillips Steed will also stay forever in a day.... I have a harp that has been in my house for years has never decayed.... where-as a deathrobe will vanish in seconds...... so will some old blessed stuff like the things you can't lock down and display..... vanishes very quickly...

Blackrock doesn't decay, if I recall correctly.

'Newbie' items and items in a champ spawn area (Corpses, etc) decay at a much faster rate. Anything over 255 stones in weight will not decay.

Noobified blessed items fast burn after drop. Deathrobes are noobed so they vannish fast. That first abandon house clean up had homes that IDOCed with deco items that don't decay. Chair been sitting for near decade now. There is also the water barrel refills that never decay. The real pain is things that do lock down and decay at morning refresh anways. Blackrock worth 10 turn in points. Why I have a trash/turn in container in house. Only one character takes the trash out.

I put a piece of blackrock in a small crate and a wooden box after reading this. Both the container and blackrock are gone today.

I love finding old school items that don't decay. Have many sitting in a courtyard. Best part they don't take points.

A chest like this is great for getting rid of thing if you do not mind losing the points. Fill it up with 124 items. Poof the go and the chest is still there.
