Hello, my fellow dexxers, sit down and listen.

My in-game name is Infurita. I have nominated myself for the post of Governor of Minoc and I want you to declare Minoc citizenship and vote for me.

Why?
The story is simple. It's damn frustrating that Europa server doesnt have a town that host Swing Speed Increase trade deal Buff and I am going to change it with your help.
People are paying tens of millions for 5% ssi ring/bracelet or Insane tinker legs.
With this buff you will save not only your gold but (which is more important) a property slot on that ring or bracer.
This buff is extra and dont occupy a single point of imbuing weight on your suit.
This buff gives you more freedom when customizing your suit.
This buff is a must for us.

How to get it:
The activation of this buff costs 2mil gold per week
Funds are raised by player donations. Just drop a pile of gold or check on The City Herald and your donation immediatly travels to City Treasury Balance.
Once activated every citizen of the city, no matter of his participation in donations part, can use it.
Left click the City Stone and choose "Utilize trade deal" from context menu

What it actually does:
1. Gives you a Buff that increase you Swing Speed Increase by 5%
2. Duration is 24 hours - no headache with timers
3. Buff persist through death - speaks for itself
4. After it's over you can immediatly get another one - 100% uptime

In case of my victory in these elections I will do the following:
1. I will donate 4 millions to City Treasury so that everyone can test the buff for free during the 2 weeks period.
2. Starting from 3rd week I will donate 500k weekly.
3. I will insure that we always have a buff up (advertise us, beg for donations and stuff) simply because my multi-million samurai suit will be dependant on it

Step 0.
If you have already voted during this election cycle - you cant vote for me. However I would love to see you as Minoc citizen in nearest future to use the Buff (and donate for it of course )

Step 1. Declare your citizenship.
In classic client: one left click self => Loyalty Rating => City Loyalty => Click on Minoc jewel => Declare your citizenship.
In Enchanced client(Pinco's): right click on your portrait => scroll to City Loyalty page => Click on Minoc => declare your citizenship

If you are currently the citizen of another town - just use another character to join Minoc and vote. After you renounce your citizenship in any town you need to wait 1 week before joining another one.

Step 2. Gaining City Loyalty
You must be at least Respected to vote.
There are many ways to raise Loyalty, but the fastest way is donating 4000 ingots/boards/leather to the Minister of Trade. He is located in the nothern part of Minoc, left from the Stables.
Just drop 4000 ingots in the Crate near the Minister of trade => you are respected with the city.
Less than 100k expences, less than 2 minutes time and you are ready to vote

Step 3. Voting
Go Minoc bank, find City Stone => double click it => view list of current candidates => Cast vote Infurita

Hello to every Minoc citizens and to my fellow opponent

I didnt wish to interviene before the results are known but i felt i may say a few words about the reasons why i ran in Minoc this time.
Minoc always has been the crafters city. Smiths and miners obviously but all other type of crafters as well. But not only !!!
As crafters do not need any specific trade deals it is obvious that this can be anything citizens may wish... and indeed SSI is coming in mind fast.

This being said trade deal doesnt do all for a city. We didnt get luck in the past to have an active Governor and i really hope to change this.
How ? first of all i d like to welcome crafters and warriors to participate more actively to the life of our beloved city. Building a mayor house
will be the first step and picking a specific day (still to be choosen) to make a crafting day for Minoc... Artisans and hunters could meet that day
to exchange ideas and wishes about stuff could it be weapons, armors, jewels, etc...

That should be a good start and could fit nicely in a larger picture to help returning and new players to get a good start but also help ppl looking for
average to top items to find a place to be answered... This should nicely fits with the Young Player House efforts and the Britain Public Service ran every day at Britain's bank.

That's only one of the idea which comes to my mind... and there s always room for anyone to add own's ideas...

I truly welcome new comers in Minoc (especially vikings who wish to be part of the city i ve been told) and hope that whatever the result of the election
we will have an active community there.

You're absolutely right about the insane price of items like Insane tinker legs and - more specific - on Sampire suits .
Your idea could be nice but don't get me wrong , there's something that Dexxers should know ( and they may know already but still ) :
Grabbing the +5SSI from the stone is a nice idea indeed but this also mean you should be a Governor for life or , if someone else get elected on next turns, he "must" choose +5SSI.
So now my points of view :
What about you get bored of he game, you loose next elections and so on ?

It's REALLY wise to build a suit without those items who granted the +5SSI without the Town buff ?
It's really WISE to spent lots of money for a suit where if no more +5SSI it need to be tweaked , buying items so supply the +5SSI and prolly craft new parts ?
This mean , if things goes wrong, Dexxers have to pay more than a "single" suit...and today you can find those tinker legs for (eg) 40 millions....but what about tomorrow ?

I'm talking not as a Moonglow governor nor as a mage-tamer, but as a crafter.

Let's be realistic fellows. Minoc is a crafer city? Really? It can be revamped by "Inviting warriors and crafters to participate more actively to the life of our beloved city"? Comon.
The guy form the first post offers something concrete. Concrete action, concrete money, concrete result. Of course it is not not wise to build your uber suit with the only hope that it is last forever. But everyone can, for example, build a suit with 5SSI ring and then have second ring with another useful mode instead of SSI, all others the same. And about redoing completly your suit - remeber nearest past: reforging, refinement, changing resists and weapon damage etc. No doubts, it will continue like that, so you will have to redo and redo and redo anyway.
My vote has gone to Effinel. I will donate 2m in the beginng and then 500 K per week starting from the 4th week.

By the way, there is a solution in favor of all parties: As I understand Effinel does not have intention to be a mayor. He just wants to keep SSI trade deal. And Lien does not have any specific trade deal in mind. If Lien promise to keep SSI as soon as there is enough donations, let it be Lien the mayor.
..The only thing we can not change votes cannt we?
