Ok I know this is early but I think two love birds in a gilded cage would be a very nice valentine gift. What do you think?

With animated little hearts popping up now and then... kind of like the critter in our infested trees?
No but if they want to put those little hearts like you get from the arrow thing going up over the cage that would be ok.

Heart shape soap bars. Can toss one in a tub making it a bubble bath. Rare chance instead of a soap bar the head of Saint Valentine. Even Cupids Day has it's Scrooges.
It would be nice if the Cupid's Arrows ACTUALLY WORKED THIS FEBRUARY...

I agree having things to collect is always the best. I still want my Despise Globe they never gave us. Please I want to complete a collection...
How about a lovely rose bush seed? So we can grow a hedge with roses in it? One that could perhaps also be sculpted into the various shapes as well! That I would like.
I also loved the Purple bunnies we got the one year.... Tamers and non-tamers loved it. Though many innocent bunnies were massacred that year.
People also like to have things with their own names on it. Not just DEV's /EM's... we like to have our own characters names on things.

lets be honsest...its easy....
take the silly shaded 125 different shade candles from this xmas....okies nice to maybe have one or two in the house.....pointless to collect as there are more than 125 shades....so a lot of candles going in the trash bin...heaps and heaps infact int the trash...pointless really....
IF only they had coloured them in the old school 13 solid colours...aka the old bell/statue bust colours...WOW.. what a set that would have been!! everyone would have wanted one...the white beng the rare as normal!! People wold have reopened more old accounts to make sure they got them all....hence EA would have been better off too.

I really loved the ttuffies back from a few years ago, even to this day are my top favorite all holiday collection set.
Would be nice to have something similar or even new stuffies, like Unicorn, Swan, etc.
Just my opinion anyways.

I'd rather have gifts that did something cool or useful, not a bunch of items slightly different from each other to satisfy OCD tendencies.
Odd as it might sound I wouldnt mind a bird cage with a pair of love birds and it play bird song.... dont need harps just the soft chriping of little birds....
I really like the polar bear and panda bear holding the heart with our names on them.

Players like things with their name on them... I honestly liked the cards you could give to someone and it had your name and their name on it. Something like the cute bears with that sort of script on them would be awesome! Also like the painting that when you click it it becomes a large picture you can actually "see" ...... a card that did that plus had the names would be super awesome!
I HATED The candies we got the one year... nice cute names and stuff but didn't stack and took up WAY too many lockdowns. Please DEV's whatever you do in future remember most of us who love collecting are bursting at the seams with over 16 years of it... x7 characters and numerous accounts and you might see where we would have a problem....
I wish I had a Deed book.... something that held the 100's of Xmas deeds, Christmas Trees, Reindeer, Sleighs, etc... into one spot. As well as maybe a Card box? Something that could store all your cards and cut out 100's of lockdowns.... would be awesome.
But that's something for the future ..... along with wanting 1 tile craftable stone slabs that work like Goza mats so I can make counters and such without having to break my furniture.... Sinks with running water... Added storage and maybe another character slot. Yes I truly am greedy. Honestly a second house or a basement expansion would be perfect. I still say you could do basements in a separate sub-server if it worked like a teleporter tile... shaped like a trap door or ladder coming up out of a hole you place the tile on the ground and when activated (And of course it would have security settings) whisked you off to a sub-server where your fully customizable (dungeon tile based with some normal tiles) basement/dungeon was.... Which would have the same lockdowns of an 18x18 or Castle depending on what "size" expansion you bought ..... and also based on the house it's placed in's expansions as to added storage such as 40 or 60% added storage... would be.... just a single level 18x18 or Castle size empty dungeon walled space... With a single ladder in one corner that acts as a teleporter to the house the teleporter was placed in.... and also like the house sign that gives the customization menu.... I know it would be loads of work but THAT would be the most awesome expansion ..... I know a bunch of folk would buy.

Some possible ideas for Valentine's Day gifts:
- A new style of flower in a vase which can be dyed with one of the dye tubs.
- A version of last year's rose bouquet which can be dyed with one of the dye tubs.
- A new "love song" music box gear or harpsichord scroll.
- A jewelry box that will hold multiple rings and bracelets.
- Fancy filigree-style plaques or banners with the names (not the symbols) of the virtues or just the word "Love." If there were multiple styles, people could trade with others to get the full set.
- An item that looks like an open scroll which we can personalize (repeatedly) with our own message, along with a fancy pen and an ink stand.
- A recipe for cooks to make heart-shaped cookies which can be personalized with the cake decorating tool.
- A variety of recipes for tailors to be able to create some sexy nightwear for male and female characters. Put in enough variety to make these worth trading to get the full set. Make the items that can be created alterable to gargoyle versions.

Lets see ... what is valentines day....
Well to young children its a day when in school the class trade cards and they get candy .. you remember them...
To young adults this day is for lovers..... bouquets of flowers and boxes of fancy chocolates... and even a piece of jewelry to mark the occasion.
To the more relaxed couples.... meaning married and settled into wedded bliss..... its a dinner date with the love of your life, followed by wine and designer chocolates again jewelry does enter the picture... some even give intamate aparel ... we all have seen the male boxers with the hearts and the ladys silky loungerie in red...
To the older more wiser couples who have done all this and then some the day is more relaxed..... a flower from the garden or even a pretty weed... a loving kiss and a nice dinner... nothing fancy... they know its valentines day but this is everyday of the year for them....
Grandpa and Grandma always said the best gift they got for this day was seeing all of us acting like nuts trying to out do the last years gifts and over eating chocolates!

I liked all the ideas but as Mal said very elligantly.. storage is limited... unless the dev want ot do some of Tina's great ideas... limit this to perhaps a few things that ether stack or perhaps limit it to 1 per shard per account.... then toss a big pile of stuff on us.... other wise ... you get the picture
