Lord Lew has been released from Yew prison on the bail of 1 million gold pieces, he is permitted to go anywhere he wishes as long as he shows up for the trial, the day for trial is Thursday, December 12th at 9:00 Pm Eastern Time. The trial will take place at the Court Of Truth in Yew.
many positions in the trial are still available to the public, and anyone can sign up if they wish. I must approve their request of course, this is not a matter of only picking my friends, it is to make sure there is no bias and that a griefer does not end up being on the jury.
the jury will be made up of 9 people, the prosecution will be made up of 1 person, the defense will be made up of 1 person, and there shall be one judge. the jury will consist of one person per virtue city (Britain, Yew, Trinsic, Minoc, Moonglow, Skara Brae, Vesper, Jhelom, New Magincia), the other positions may have people from the same city. In the interest of impartiality, and fairness the judge shall not be from any of the virtue cities.
people from outside the virtue cities may also apply if they wish, however the governor of whichever city they are applying for must approve them. if the city has no current governor, (Minoc and Moonglow) I will approve the request instead. Non virtue city applicants may come from these places: Tokuno, Ter'Mur, Nuj'elm, Bucanners Den, Luna, Umbra, Serpents Hold, Cove, Papua, and Delucia.
