Yeah, but only 50 at a go. That was a really stupid addition though. Dude on Uhall said he got like 40k cleanup points in an hour.

level 1 Thepem quest 'all that glitters' needs 5 congealed slug acid and 1 pile of inspected gold ingots (20).
gives 1 Elixir of Gold Coversion which turns up to 500 dull copper ingots into 500 gold ingots.

there are gold elemental that spawn quickly in a room with a forge. each one gives 25 ore. you can kill them quickly with EVs or RC

Even if you can't upgrade them, a gold ingot faucet can rack up crazy clean up points and town loyalty. They really need to remove that spawn.
