Lets face it, I'm locking the stable door after the horse has bolted here. However I'd just like to know what thought processes the dev team went through when they decided to keep the guards active during the invasion?
Lets consider a few things:
I should indeed be happy that the devs decided to include the whole player base in this new event by even including it on the fel side as previously they were catering only for blues for some reason.
The beacon was running in both Trammel & Fellucca in Parallel, so if hardcore trammel players didn't want to miss out on anything, they would not be forced to go to fel anyway.
The guards being active just doesn't make sense in a story arc they should be busy attacking the invaders.
The guards being active made it COMPLETELY impossible for a guild of red players to play as they're unable to aid each other.
