Have reforging been changed?

When I reforged 100% HML about 5 month ago it took 2-4 copper runics to get one weapon. About one month ago I spend 20 runics and got only 3 weapons.

Few days ago I spend over 300 charges = over 100 attempts (Yew runic) to get one bow with overcapped HML.

One year ago it took just few attempts to get 5 HCI armor piece. Yesterday I spend 2 oak runics to get one piece with 5 HCI.

Have probabilities been changed?

I noticed this too when crafting with Barbed runic kits - it's hard to tell if I'm being paranoid or if something really has changed.

Same here, I'm trying to make HML 100% as well and I'm somewhere on 15-25 runic hammers.

Just to make sure I'm not doing this incorrectly, you do use a Copper Runic, then just Vampiric? No Powerful reforge needed?

Yes use a powerful charge.

Just curious, when I use this method I'm getting 96% hml, but no 100%. Is it just difficult to get that extra 4% or is 96% the max?

I don't know the answer to that one. I've always had straight 100% or maybe 2 mods HML and HLL at about 75% each.

It depends on the swing speed of the weapon. (Also ssi)

96% is max for 2.75s weapon. You can't reforge more on it.
