*sighs* I am just old, I suppose. I notice when some of the more colorful folks disappear from Stratics. Caspian made a point of posting on November 5 every year. Mostly an English thing. Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Gov't. Vendetta or some such movie was based on this factual story from the past. I will let it go now. Off topic and not UO related I guess.

Although I didn't make the Guy Fawkes connection, I was aware that he hadn't posted in a while... just didn't realize it had been so long. Now I'm the one who feels old. When you're 16 a year feels like an eternity. After 60 it feels more like a long weekend. 
Maybe he couldn't get out of Narnia to make the trip to the boards this time. Hope he is doing well tho.
I haven't been a poster here for years.... And this wasn't even my main account.... I was just listening to my classic UO midi's this morning and thought I'd peep in and see if the stratics community was still alive. Its nice to see that it is, even though I don't consider this my community anymore. Most of the people from my day (hell it seems like all of them) don't post here anymore either. Anyways just thought I'd say I remember quite well what Kelmo is talking about. And also, I wish I could get back into this game. I've tried a couple times, really really tried. But it just doesn't capture me like it did circa '98-'03. To everyone still posting and playing, keep on keepin' on.
