Can we just confirm the Invasion will be here for months rather than weeks

Just a heads up for the quieter shards and the casual players....Is it worth me getting one/two marty a day if i want to claim a 25/ 50 /100 marty blackthorn pressie....if so i need 25/50 days....so what gives...am i wasting my small amount of time or is the invasion gonna be around for months rather than weeks

Naaah, that would de-value the items you are grinding for. Think til Christmas would be reasonable, so that everybody has the chance to get his/her hands on the desired items. And after that, they should add them to a dungeon with the [Replica]-Tag. By this, everybody has time to get absolutely unique items, but they would keep their worth as rares. And who ever needs this stuff in future can get it as non-rare by simply fighting

I would prefer a six month window, that's about enough time for me to get a single 100 point item. Ann IMO, keep the items available forever, the only people who really benefit from non-available items are the external websites. If there is an opportunity to get theses items in game, then they suffer.....not the players.

Maby add this new thing to doom ?
so that you can hand in both doom arties, and minax arties to get the "cool" blacktorn arties
And make it so that DF always drops 1 minax artie to the top 5 attackers.

Kyronix has already answered this one. The invasion will not be around for an extended period, but Minax and Blackthorn artifacts are a permanent addition to the game. There will be a way to get both after the story arc finishes.
