Item Request - Craftable Earplugs

These bards, omg these bards. I'm writing this right now while tossing arrows at a bard and only have one request....

Craft-able Earplugs!

Make them hard to get, make them take up the whole head slot (earmuffs!!!) I don't care, just something to shorten this fight and reduce/remove cacophony.

you can turn off sound its in the menu....... and if you run assist there is a bards button on the menu too to shut off music

He isn't complaining of the sound...just the length of the fight it seems.

Yes the length of the fight..... we need a way to deter the Cacophony spell.

I jsut think the peacemaking masteries song should reduce the length of the cacophony spell by half from these NPC bard/Grizzle and maybe the putrid effect from Lady Melissande peerless.

You know, all you have to do is line of sight the bard every 15 seconds, and you won't get slowed.

Oooh, can it look like World of Warcraft's Electromagnetic Gigaflux Reactivator? I mean, Blackthorn DID spend all that time with the clockwork-style Exodus stuff so it wouldn't totally be out of place.

I would wear one on every character. And photoshop one on my dragon. Maybe two.

Flutter made a good point about resist though. We have resists on our armor, a skill for magic resist, a skill for melee "resist" in parrying, but we are all helpless to some guy with a harp. It's a kind of weird if you think about it.

(Those bards are sooooooo annoying!)

There's a lot of monster "special" attacks that I think should be resistible (with the magic resist skill).
With the changes to magic resist (not so recent but feels that way to me) no longer resisting spells it would be helpful to give the skill more strength.
