I'm still confused about that one, and where to get it. 
I was under the impression that it might be obtainable from last years November cornucopia/horn of plenty, in place of the occasional live turkey that originally spawned from that gift. Am I completely off base on that?

I tried two of each - Cornucopia and Horn of Plenty, on Test Center.
Both Cornucopia gave just food.
on the first Horn of Plenty, just food from all 10 charges.
On the second Horn of Plenty, on 'charge' one a Turkey, and on charge two - the Roasting Pig On a Spit.

Now to find where my son hid all my horns... I had like 2 secures of them.... if you hear yelling from a guy...I found out he trashed them.... (digs out wet noodle)

Well Im glad its the Horn of Plenty. I found 5 with full charges. Have 6 more somewhere...
I got one on try #12. Then tried 30 more and got 2 turkeys and lots of turkey dinners. The turkey dinner gets 5 cleanup points!
They recharge slow. I think its one per week. I happened to use one over a week ago and it only has one charge.
The pig looks a little bloated. Its either from the spinning or its the EC piggy. The CC pig would look better. I got a pulled pork sandwich from the pig.

I have somewhere around 81 Horns of Plenty...... thank GOD I only had to empty 1.2 before I got the Pig....
I was beginning to panic wondering what I'd do if I had to use all those horns to get one pig! But got my pig now I can resume killing spawn and saving my town!

For some reason that really tickled my funny bone.
I've gotten two of the deeds. I like the art, aside from the warp speed piggy and the weird way the sides of the BBQ flicker in the EC.
I'd like the pig slowed down and an option to remove the logs so the thing only takes 2 tiles total.

Supposedly they will in the month of November.... but we all remember hearing that the cupid arrows would work again come Feb...... and we all remember how well that worked don't we? So not holding my breath.

It says to feed it Grains and Hay when you lore it. Go to the tent in Ter Mur that is just South of the Soul Forge and buy a "Sheaf of Hay" from the NPC. I just fed mine, so I know they will eat it.

Last year I trained my Turkey up to the point he can kill Grizzly Bears. It may not seem that impressive compared to other creatures in game, but it's still just a Turkey !
You can place the deed on raised goza mats, axe the mats, then lower the graphic to break it apart - leaving only the logs for deco.
I did this right next to my new fireplace (the deed they gave us) so I have the "pile of logs" beside the fireplace.
WARNING : If you do this it seems to leave a shadow of one tile where u can NOT walk NOR place anything else.
This shadow spot can NOT be gotten rid of and seems to permanently leave a dead single tile spot.
Maybe if you go into customization mode the spot will reset but doing that would drop SO much of my house deco
into the moving crate that this would not be an option for me.
I managed a work around by placing it in a spot that doesn't cause much problems but its still VERY annoying.
If your on Atlantic, I'd be glad to show you what I mean & where I placed mine for reference. The logs are a neat graphic tho

The Threadomancy is strong in this one . . .Me, too, Hen. I recoil at the sight of a pig on a spit, but would love that little pile of logs.
