Ethy went poof...

So I sued a Crystal Portal earlier today and when I arrived at my destination I was dismounted and my ethy was not in my bag. It's still counted in my follower stat though, so it seems to not be altogether gone.

Has anyone else had this happen? I paged a GM but I think they are all off for the day as its been hours with no reply.

I'm afraid that if I mount something else it will end up lost, so I've been forced to shoe leather express it, and its getting annoying.

Any help?

It's glitched. It caught in the nether world. I'd almost say log out and back in, but you risk it deleting. What's scary is to the code you're still sitting on that ethy, even though you aren't. Funky spaghetti code = funky, funky glitches. Not saying I don't love UO, but the code does make for some unique glitches.

I did log out and back in several times, and its still there in my followers. It's no huge deal if I lose it. I'd just rather not as I've had it for a really long time.

Tried everything I could think of outside of mounting another ethy/horse. Costume didn't change me (even logging in and out with costume equipped), transformation spell says "you must first dismount". I haven't tried getting the dismount move used on me.

Hoping it will be fixed with server up. If not... another 3+ hours waiting for my turn on the help queue. :/

Might be a silly thing to ask but have you asked a second player to snoop you, etc? But if you logged in and out and closed client and all that then I doubt there would be anything hidden, deed wise. Hm. Is it possible, at all, it might be in your stable? Meh. Wish I had a real solution.

Na, the game thinks im still riding it. It's still in my follower slot. I DID actually check the stable just for chucks, and nothing there. Its really annoying because I have spent like... 4 hours (not in a row) waiting for a GM to come fix me, and in the meantime I am stuck at walking speed which can make even fighting butchers a bit of a dangerous game, and if I leave town and a red finds me I am just dead meat.

The only thing I haven't tried is getting hit with a dismount special attack.

I tried both clients and nothing. I haven't tried to mount anything else because I am afraid that if I can it will dissapear my hidden ethy, though I have a feeling that it will just tell me I am already mounted as it does when I try to change into a form.

How about trying to walk into Blackthorn's castle or out to the wreck?

GM Jotid just fixed me up. Took um a while, pesky llamma that it was. Sadly it was banished to the nether realms, but I got a replacement and am unbugged!
