Thank you for posting this, Startle! I hadn't seen Taylor's talk live (but happened to catch Richard & crew because of a Stratics Facebook post). This is great information and sounds like good news for Stratics. I've been on here almost since the beginning (I lost my original user name when they had a major server crash at some point and probably thousands of post count - which I don't really care about). I'm glad to hear this site will be around for a long time. I've used Stratics exclusively for UO all these years but it has helped me keep in touch with friends, learn what creatures I should stay away from, which ones I should kill to not only keep the land safe but up my reputation and karma, how to grow plants, where the best shops are, what armor was best for me - the list goes on and on.

My only regrets are that I'm not 30 years younger, studied journalism in school, and had the time to write for Stratics as a reporter. My life is too chaotic to be a consistent reporter even if I had the writing skills required. What wonderful opportunities Stratics is providing for young journalists!

Hats off to Taylor for his passion and congratulations on following his dream. *curtsy*

Hi Rhiannon... I agree with everything you've said... I too have been a UOStratics member since before that complete account wipeout that took place prior to - what was it 2004? I know if I look at my details here it says I've been a member since 2004 which is laughable... I've been here since at least 2000.

Anyway, it really was good to see the enthusiasm that Taylor has for Stratics and the direction that it's going. Sure makes me feel hopeful that it will continue to be the main source of all things UO related...

The 2nd video made me wonder as to the future of UO itself.... I'm guessing that Shroud is going to be a hit.... I guess we'll just have to wait and see about all of that.
