A question about closing a couple of UO accounts.

Is it possible to close an account that has a couple months left on it, and apply those months to another account? If not, can I just remove the billing info on the accounts I wish to close and still play until the date that they would renew? Thanks in advance for any answers.

to my knowledge you can not transfer time from one account to another! But you can remove billing info and you still will be able to play until time you have paid for runs out! I do mine every month so that it does not auto come out until i get paid

Ah, thanks so much Storm. So I will remove the billing info since time is moving so fast lately that I could easily end up paying for another six months. I appreciate your knowledge very much.

If you close the account, they shut it down within a few days even if it has time left, but if you just remove your billing details the account will remain active until the subscription runs out.

I would have to log in and look but I think you can just hit cancel subscription button and it would do same thing

I have one account that I reactivate every so often, and I can still login for a full month. I was also able to login fine after closing another account, then letting it stay inactive for a couple of weeks to sync with others.

I closed 2 accounts down not long ago and they closed them down within a few days and they had 20 days game time left.

That's odd, I'll check it out the next time I reactivate (maybe holiday gifts if they're worthwhile). At the least you'd think EA would give us our money's worth, since after all the time is paid for. Do they do this for other games?

I close and re-open mine all the time every month and I have ALWAYS gotten to use the time I had left!
