Allow Customization of Keeps & Castles Plz!

I reiterate my statement to say NO to customizing existing castles in any way, we would loose the historical design of a castle. I'd much prefer the DEV team to design some new models (6 or so), with new walls, new inside layouts, etc. etc. and allow folks to place these new designs. If you want a new design, then you should either uproot your castle and replace it with a new design ~OR~ allow a design change from inside the housing menu. I prefer forcing folks to make that hard design to uproot, because that would ensure at least some castles will remain in the old design.

Most players use the unrulely castles for storage/warehouse. If a castle was allowed a restrictive customization with downside of reduced storage. There would be plenty of classic castles still about. Blowing out the bottom floor of the keep with a few supports is a no brainer across the board fix. Like stated many times. There just needs to be a half dozen static choices of castle/keep plots. Best castle plot done was one with 6 of the smaller houses replicated on the castle foot print. Second would of been the sandstone recreation of the Allamo.

Just allowing us to have a door into those empty area's or a teleporter of some kind and allow lock downs in there would be nice.... ..... I'd be happy with that. But having those big empty area's just sit there and not be accessible is annoying.

Panda look I do understand your wish for it to remain "original" and I am not saying toss out that choice off the menu.. but also allow those who do wish a bit of change that option as well. Not all will change and will be like you in that the basic model is their choice. I do like that other footprint Devilsown had, I do remember a few on Grim's page that were so nice that players wouldn't mind as well on the menu.
It's nice you care to keep a part of the game as a shrine... but some of us realize its time to get with the 25th century and allow some change's that might just keep players in the game to last to our 25th year ...and beyond. The Dev has been gracious and done many changes to lure players to stay and new ones to come in..

Warpig .... you touch my castles in any way of lowering them in storage after I paid good rl money to max them I will personaly beat you with a wet noodle! Mesanna not needed on that venue! You have never been in my homes.. they are not Storage bins and though I have had many for guild use over the years they have and will remain homes.
I have owned a castle from year one, but a few years ago due to a well known thief who shall remain nameless I lost it.. So I do understand you want as I would never do anything to that home and I do mean my home... I was proud of it.
These days I have give or take 12 ...maybe more .. I need to count them. (I digress sorry) and keeps are up there as well. I know the in's and outs of placing, decorating, you name it having to do with them. I for one would not mind in the least to have a different design in the offering. Stone changing and perhaps a directional front door would go along way to please a lot of players.. even the other customized players would like the optional stair facing on their homes.
