for ****s and giggles i wanted to see if there was a difference between running around and farming one garden.
so i went out 4 times over 4 days.
i would run for a hour hitting each garden in game then starting over again from the top.
stopping only to kill a Grim then keep moving.
both fel and tram sides.
then i would take a hour and farm a garden plot with a necro with horde minions.
i can say without a doubt that farming a plot with a horde minion gets you about 3x more pumpkins then just running from plot to plot looking for random spawning ones.
interestingly enough there where times when i would have 4 Grim's up at one time in one garden.
so that kills the theory of only one spawning at any given time.
only thing i didnt do was compare garden spot in tram to fel, i just used exclusively fel side for farming the plot, just cause i wanted the option to kill anyone who tried to shoulder in on my kills.

Yepp. For the most part the folks (there are folks who are the exception to what follows) who say clearing the fields do not make the Grimm's appear are those who are too lazy to put the work in themselves. *shrugs*

Ive done around 30... got two 9's, still lookin for that 6th. Gettin a bit burned out on it.
im in around 70 and im missing #6

I was always clearing fields in the past and always, just as a killer pumpkin or other special pumpkin was about to spawn, in would run another player who raced around the fields fast, not clearing them, who would grab the pumpkins that spawned. I could almost predict when a pumpkin would spawn and where, after working on the fields solo all the time.

i just counted, im over 100 bloody carved pumpkins and still no #6!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

134 carved pumpkins, 9 minutes to midnight EST and i FINALLY for the missing #9 for my collection.
